Petroleum Site Survey Team Specialist

Key Role:

-Prepares for compliance survey (audit) of an education and training program by examining and reviewing various informational sources.
-Examines education records for enrolled students and ascertains enrollment data and award actions.
-Verifies institution has provided appropriate forms for compliance with Equal Opportunity Laws, Conflicting Interest and other documents required for State Approving Agency (SAA) program approval of Veteran education benefits.

As a Research Fish Biologist within the Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Planning, designing, and executing complex and comprehensive research projects that are applicable to management approaches to conserve and restore assemblages of native freshwater mussels, particularly in the Mississippi River Basin and the Laurentian Great Lakes.
• Applying complex ecological data and comprehensive models to understand individual, population, and community dynamics to inform approaches to conserve and recover mussel assemblages.
• Providing leadership in planning, conducting, and overseeing research involving teams of multidisciplinary and multiagency personnel as applied to the conservation and restoration of native freshwater mussels.
