Summary
The Simulation System Engineer (SSE) works with in the System Life Cycle (SLC) of a project as the overall technical lead. The candidate functions as a technical specialist using systems engineering and MBSE methods for solving advanced conceptual, network, and software designs for simulators. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for the coordination, installation, upgrade and conversion or servicing of alarm systems, access controls, video cameras, burglary, radio systems and all other types of physical security equipment within CoStar Corporate Security on an Enterprise Level. This position oversees the design, development, application maintenance of Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, Visitor Management and Records Management Systems at CoStar. This position will be 30% managing technology venders and 70% hands on technical design, build, configuration, and maintenance. This is a hands-on technical position. The applicant must fully understand and have considerable experience managing security access and camera systems, IP networks, Windows OS and Linux operating systems. Further, this position is responsible for the strategic development of Electronic Security System programs and standards, including the identification and application of relevant new technologies to meet changing security needs of CoStar.
