This position is located within the Department of Commerce (DOC), National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority), Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO), in Reston, VA.
At the full performance level ZA-5 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Serves as the team lead over acquisition business systems and applications. Oversees the requirements definition, design, development, implementation, and fielding of automated tools and systems that improve acquisition business processes.
2. Develops procedures and plans for direction, integration, and execution of related acquisition activities and related planning programs in budgeting, financing, contracting, and accounting to develop and maintain an effective and integrated procurement acquisition process.
3. Identifies and analyzes acquisition process problems, trends, emerging needs, and recommends and implements improvements and solutions.
4. Prepares and presents acquisition briefings to both internal and external stakeholders.
5. Writes reports based on analysis of acquisition related processes, problems, and recommended improvements.
6. Participates in acquisition data quality management to enhance data integrity.
The FirstNet Authority has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
Salary Information
ZA-V: $155,700 - $183,500 per annum
