The Ambulatory Care (CBOC) Clinical Coordinator is responsible for performing key duties in the areas of administration, supervision, management analysis, and day to day operational management of the ambulatory care site. This includes programmatic evaluation; evaluation of clinic work flow and the continuum of care; management of resources such as staff, space, and equipment; oversight of nursing care; quality assurance, quality improvement activities, and performance measures; and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. The Clinical Coordinator has the responsibility of building and maintaining positive public relations and contacts with various individuals at all levels of authority. The Clinical Coordinator actively participates in programmatic development, evaluation, and implementation of policies and procedures in current and new programs.
