The Public Health Program Specialist performs the following major duties:

• Serves as health programming resource in the identification of critical global issues and problems related to project design and implementation.
• Provides advice and guidance to OGHH, PC posts and PC headquarters around community health programs. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, Gulf of Mexico Regional Directorate, National Offshore Training Center, Training Center Operations Section in Jefferson, LA.

At the full performance level (GS-13) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Manages and administers technical training delivery and training location staging to promote the successful learning and desired training outcomes.
2. Schedules and administers training and development programs that are responsive to the short- and long-range needs of the BSEE.
