The Purpose of the Role: The Strategic Business Analyst at Acelero, Inc. plays a key role in shaping our strategic initiatives through expert analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes. Integral to the strategic planning team, this role contributes to informed decision-making and business strategy alignment with our core values of innovation and impact. By translating market intelligence into actionable insights, the Strategic Business Analyst is essential in maintaining Acelero's competitive edge and advancing our mission in the industry.
What You’ll Work On:
Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats.
Data Analysis: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights into consumer behavior, preferences, and market trends.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, products, and market positioning to identify competitive advantages and areas for improvement.
Forecasting and Trend Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate market forecasts and trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Consumer Insights: Utilize surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to gather insights into consumer preferences, needs, and attitudes.
Report Generation: Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing market findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that contribute to the development and refinement of business strategies.
About You (Requirements):
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
2 years of proven experience in market analysis, competitive intelligence, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data interpretation.
Strong organizational and project management skills.

Salary: $85,145 - $100,000

The Purpose of the Role
As the Vice President, Business Development at Acelero Inc., you will embody the driving force behind our organization's growth and expansion in the early care and education sector. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping and executing a dynamic business development strategy that not only amplifies our market presence but also resonates deeply with our mission to enhance early care and education. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to build robust relationships, expand our reach, and foster a culture of excellence within the business development team. A Year in the Life
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the organization's mission and goals. This includes identifying target markets, defining business development objectives, and creating plans to achieve revenue targets.
Market Expansion: Lead efforts to expand the organization's reach in existing markets and explore opportunities for entering new markets. This involves identifying potential clients, partners, and collaborators to increase the organization's impact.
Prospect and Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and other leaders involved in early childhood education. Ensure prospect and partner satisfaction through the transition to the implementation team and address needs to foster long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the (growing) business development team, guiding them in achieving individual and collective business development goals. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on excellence and results.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Collaborate with other departments to align business development efforts with the organization's overall financial objectives.
Data Analysis: Utilize data from research and/or our Sales & Marketing solution (HubSpot) and analytics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize business development performance.
Market Trends and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use this information to adapt business development strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that business development processes and practices comply with relevant regulations, policies, and quality standards. Implement measures to maintain high levels of service quality.
Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, Shine community partnerships, public systems, and special projects, learning & impact, and finance to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to achieving organizational objectives. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Innovation and Improvement: Continuously assess and improve business development processes, explore innovative approaches, and implement best practices to enhance the organization's business development effectiveness.
Advocacy and Representation: Serve as a representative of the organization in external forums, conferences, and events. Advocate for the importance of early childhood education and promote the organization's impact.

Who should apply? (Requirements/competencies)
Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related field required.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development leadership roles, with a strong background in revenue generation and growth.
Proven experience managing a multi-million dollar budget.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful business development and growth strategies in the education sector or a related field.
Previous experience in a leadership role overseeing a team of business development professionals.
When/Where/How Much
Start Date: Anticipated Spring 2024
Location/Travel: Remote position with travel required locally or long-distance up to 40% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
Base Salary: The position offers a base salary range of $114,000 to $154,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Incentive Package: In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for an incentive package. Successful performance may lead to earning opportunities up to $212,000 annually, inclusive of base salary and incentives.
Please note: The total compensation package includes health insurance, retirement benefits, etc. Specific details regarding the incentive package will be discussed during the hiring process.
