(1) Establishes plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy-duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms. (3) Programs workload, shop space, and available personnel on a short and long-term basis. Conducts initial and long range planning on matters which include multiple process production, maintenance operations, equipment readiness, including mechanical skills, availability of test and diagnostic equipment, repair parts, annual training requirements, mobilization requirements; and other factors influencing the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment and readiness reporting.
(4) Ensures that unit Class 9 (CL IX) accounts are funded, budgeted, and executed to maximize readiness. Performs demand analysis on unit CL IX expenses to determine proper stockage to sustain unit mission requirements.
(5) Designates and maintains current maintenance priorities by Force Activity Designator, pacing items, Equipment Readiness Codes (ERC) A, B, and C equipment type, available funds, commander's priority, state/national priorities (in the case of floods, fires, and mobilizations), and unit supported. Using the current automation support system, authorizes the acceptance of equipment for repair; monitors work priorities, current status, and completion of work orders; requisitions and provides status of repair parts; and assures the effective utilization of maintenance personnel. Provides both standard and ad hoc reports on the status of work orders to the supervisor and/or units. Assists supervisory personnel regarding readiness, CL IX funding, production problems and work planning. Assists in the resolution of problems encountered between scheduled or unscheduled production or priority requirements.
(6) Analyzes repair methods and develops control procedures and policies to assure accomplishment of programs to meet priorities and deadlines established by higher authority or support activities. Ensures that this is performed in the most effective and efficient manner possible with good quality control and quality assurance procedures in place. Coordinates with units and other support activities concerning the delivery, status of repair operations, and/or pick up of completed work orders. Coordinates with logistical personnel, equipment specialists, higher ranked management officials, item managers at depots concerning critical shortages of repair parts required to support the maintenance repair program.
(7) Provides technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. May provide guidance and oversight of mechanics, Tools and Parts Attendants, or other positions assisting in the maintenance production or maintenance management processes. Ensures necessary maintenance workers are available and that required reports are submitted to units and higher headquarters in a timely manner.
(8) This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.

As an Air Traffic Control Specialist (Terminal) (Title 5), GS-2152-11, you will perform the below duties:
1. Performs air traffic control duties in the control tower. Directs movement of aircraft in flight and on the ground by utilizing pilot and controller reports, visual observation, and/or tower displays, or a combination of methods and in close coordination with other controllers. under restrictive time and space limitations, formulates and issues ATC clearances and instructions to provide for the required separation and or sequencing of all IFR and VFR traffic within delegated airspace. Incumbent is responsible for the utilization of training materials that ensure controller-trainees are adequately trained and tested with the goal of creating a cohesive ATC team that provides multi-level ATC services to the aviation customer. Incumbent ensures all newly assigned trainees receive training in accordance with applicable regulations. Incumbent executes controller qualification, proficiency, and remedial training. Completion of training results in newly assigned personnel receiving their Control Tower Operator (CTO) certifications within prescribed time limits or elimination actions that require documentation of performance deficiencies. Assigns study assignments and administers practical exams to trainees to ensure proficiency is maintained. Conducts proficiency training on changes to FAA, DOD and DA regulations and provides guidance on implementation. Administers DA Form 3479-1, Trainee/Controller Evaluation and makes entries in accordance with TC 3-04.81; provides on-the-job training instruction and guidance to trainee controllers involved in qualification training for their FAA CTO certificate. 3. Operates, trains, and provides preventative maintenance on a host of automated communications and display hardware and software systems that are integral and vital to the operation of the air traffic control facility. Maintains communications with aircraft and adjacent facilities to transmit and receive instructions and information relative to flight. Determines when backup or alternate communications are required and places same in operation as appropriate. Investigates possible equipment outages and issues appropriate advisories to aircraft. Ensures adjacent facilities and aircraft operators are advised of additional support requirements during equipment outages. Provides training on systems to ensure controllers understand and apply correct equipment system operations.
4. Evaluates weather reports from automated (ASOS, AWADS, IDS, etc.) or other sources (i.e. Pilot Reports) and ensures weather information is accurate, specific, and timely. Modifies, corrects, or augments as appropriate for official weather reporting. Provides dissemination of weather warnings, Center Weather Advisories (CWA), Significant Meteorological Information (SIGMET), or Meteorological Information (MET) watch advisories. 5. Conducts and directs aircraft mishap and hazardous air traffic systems reporting. Serves as the focal point on the airfield for ground or airborne aircraft mishaps, system reports on hazardous air traffic activities, and ATC and pilot incident inquiries. (1) Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. Assists higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems to include internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work is performed in tiring or uncomfortable positions for long periods. There is frequent standing, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and crouching; or working on top of, under, and in tight compartments or cramped or awkward positions. Performs strenuous work while standing, lying, or sitting. Frequently lifts and carries items, unassisted, weighing up to 40 pounds; and often exerts similar effort in pushing, pulling, and positioning parts, assemblies, and equipment. Frequently lifts and moves heavier items with the assistance of other workers or with lifting devices such as jacks, hoists, and cranes. May be required to work from ladders or work platforms at varying heights.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed both inside and outside. When inside, the incumbent is frequently exposed to drafts, changing temperatures, and noise which is difficult to talk above. When outside, the incumbent is exposed to bad weather, in mud or snow, and in wet or icy areas. The incumbent is frequently exposed to irritations or discomfort from dust, heat, fumes, and hard damp floors or ground. Typically works on parts and systems, which are dirty, oily, or greasy. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, burns, bruises, and sprains while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment. Often exposed to the possibility of falls while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment; and skin irritations from acid, fluids, and lubricants. Uses safety equipment such as protective ear devices, hard hats, hard-toe shoes, respirators, and protective clothing, which may be uncomfortable to wear or use and may be worn or used for long periods.

As a TRAINING OFFICER - TITLE 32, GS-1702-9, you will assist with the evaluation of training programs for the state. Develop plans that support the commander's training guidance. As a HEALTH TECHNICIAN, GS-0640-8 your duties are below.
(1) Serves as the subject matter expert and advisor to the commander and staff on the brigade Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) program. Interprets policy and provides procedural guidance to the commander, staff members and individual military members. Keeps current on and ensures the implementation of regulations and directives. Develops guidelines and operational procedures to implement changes to policies and programs directed by higher headquarters. Researches and resolves the most difficult problems and questions, including those where guidance is only partially relevant or is incomplete. Accomplishes a variety of statistical data/reports, analyzes the information, identifies trends, and makes recommendations to assist in management decisions. Conducts staff visits and provides training, guidance and assistance to Soldiers at the Brigade and subordinate units.
(2) Responsible for the organization's medical readiness programs. Monitors the status of health assessments within the organization and ensures appropriate scheduling and completion. Ensures the timely completion of and reviews LOD investigations. Provide technical guidance to subordinate unit administrative personnel in the preparation of formal and informal LOD investigations. Functions as a technical advisor to appointed investigating officers and subordinate commands on the completion of formal LOD investigations. Assists subordinate units in coordinating with civilian and military medical authorities for required supporting documentation. Provides technical guidance to subordinate unit personnel in the preparation and submission of incapacitation pay packets.
(3) Responsible for collection, input, and management of medical readiness information for the Brigade/Group/Troop Command and subordinate units. Coordinates and ensures the timely and accurate input of data regarding physicals, dental, immunizations, HIV/DNA, and profiling into the automated medical records and management systems. Organizes and researches patient records, extract needed information, and review records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency within established guidelines.
(4) Develops and provides IMR reports to subordinate units to support the scheduling of annual medical readiness requirements. Consolidates and forwards subordinate units' requests for funding and medical resources, both military and civilian, to accomplish annual and recurring medical readiness requirements.
(5) Reviews, validates, and forwards requests for temporary and/or permanent medical actions to include profile determination and medical boards (e.g. fitness for duty evaluation (FFDE), military occupational skills/medical retention board (MMRB), medical evaluation board/physical evaluation board (MEB/PEB)). Prepares, reviews, schedules, monitors, and submits line of duty investigations and packets for required medical review and/or action.
(6) Monitors the execution of all medical readiness events (military and civilian) to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations and that required documentation is submitted to facilitate payment.
(7) Monitors the posting of updated information derived from annual and recurring medical requirements (e.g., periodic health assessments (PHA), required immunizations, dental exams, physicals exams, profiling requirements) and other-directed medical readiness requirements. Ensures subordinate elements comply with directed follow-up actions (i.e., sprint hearing test, over 40 cardiovascular screenings, additional blood draw, etc).
(8) Is the subject matter expert for continuing education/certification requirements for enlisted medical personnel and combat lifesavers. Maintains records and analyzes data from the medical occupational data system (MODS). Provides reports identifying enlisted medical personnel sustainment training requirements to the training specialist. Provides assistance and guidance to subordinate units on medical records management. Maintains consolidated reports regarding the status of sustainment training and qualification of all medical personnel.
(9) As a member of the command readiness inspection team, collects data and/or information used in the evaluation of individual medical readiness. Consolidates medical data for the preparation of the organizational readiness report.
(10) Ensures subordinate unit personnel maintain medical records in accordance with Army regulations/instructions and other established guidelines. Adheres to and provides guidance to subordinate units concerning regulations, policies, directives, and standards pursuant to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy Rule and the release of medical information/records.
