- Serve in the Office of Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Programs (EEOCP) and performs a variety of technical work in support of the Office's internal responsibilities for the Bureau:
- Serve as an expert and consultant on EEO laws, policies, processes, and procedures to managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Explain or provide guidance on EEO laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to management, personnel, or clients.
- Develop plans, strategies and feasible resolution agreements to reduce or resolve complaints of discrimination.
- Conduct fact-finding and interviews with aggrieved individuals and responsible management officials.
- Review reports of investigation for accuracy and sufficiency.
- Conduct inquiries and interviews to obtain or verify information.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare records using complaint data related to allegations of discrimination.
- Foster cooperation, collaboration, and communication to facilitate consensus and accomplish tasks.
- Provide training regarding EEO and DEIA principles, executive orders, processes, or issues to individuals and groups.
- Prepare all correspondence necessary to the processing of a complaint case.
