- Revise, plan, guide, and evaluate the development and implementation of methods and procedures for budget formulation and administration.
- Develop long-range budget concepts and procedures, funding policies and procedures.
- Execute fund control responsibilities in administering/executing approved budgets to include certifying funds availability on obligation.

- Allocate funds to individual activities/functional areas based on an analysis of activity budget estimates, historical expenditures, and approved funding.
- Coordinate year-end closing to ensure proper and full use of provided funds, with no anti-deficiency violations.
- Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities such as assigning/monitoring workload, evaluating performance, training, mentoring/
coaching subordinates, identifying training needs of employees, and taking corrective action when required.
