Within IOTC are: Standard hotel rooms, 2-bedroom cottages, studio cabanas and 2,3,4-bedroom villas. Each location has a variety of furnishings. Specific instructions are provided where to clean and the methods to use.  This is a non-sensitive position. 

Incumbent performs a wide range of cleaning tasks using various types of equipment.  Typically, each housekeeper has an assigned daily section and/or common areas. These tasks are done while providing world class customer service.  These will include but not be limited to the following:  making beds, changing linen, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, and emptying trash cans.  Additionally, guest room bathrooms, including: toilets, floor showers and tubs; wash basins, mirrors and walls. Required to wax and/or polish hardwood furniture and shampoo upholstered furniture in rooms and common areas.  Kitchen area cleaning includes: cleaning the refrigerator, stoves, microwaves, washing dishes (pots, pans, glasses, etc.), range hood, wiping down cabinets and floors. Common area duties may include: cleaning public toilets, sweeping, mopping, buffing and vacuuming. The incumbent may be required to empty large trash cans (weighing up to 40 lb) from public areas and take trash to the dumpster containers located as much as 300 feet from the building. Quarterly deep cleans may include: shampooing carpets, changing encasements, baseboards and light fixtures. Incumbent also takes inventory of the furnishings daily, replaces any missing items and reports all maintenance discrepancies. Required to read housekeeping assignments.  Strong cleaning solutions and ladders are used in performing the above duties.  Responsible for inspecting assigned guest rooms before releasing check out rooms. Responsible for reporting all missing, damaged or destroyed property immediately to supervisor.  Turns in all lost property found on premises to supervisor.

Will perform miscellaneous duties to include: reporting any unauthorized visitors or other suspicious incidents to supervisor, moving heavy items of furniture and supplies/ equipment, making adjustments and minor repairs on the industrial type equipment frequently used.  Required to meet and provide excellent customer service.  Will provide additional service when requested or refer guest to the appropriate department.  The incumbent will remain in assigned work area during normal working hours.  Incumbent is required to work independently and is responsible.  Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles to be transported from one work place to another.

• You will interpret various regulations pertaining to packing, packaging, crating, shipping, handling, and storing material being prepared for shipment.

 Serves as the Installation non-clinical Case Worker for the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) and manages services that include intake, identification, assessment, evaluation, tracking and referral of eligible family members in the EFMP.  Serves as a liaison to and works closely with health care professionals on provision of available services and resources at the command to ensure best possible care in accordance with community, national and Marine Corps standards.  Facilitates referrals to appropriate specialists.  Assists in identification of community resources.  Manages and monitors the member’s progress from enrollment to assessment.

Personally contacts each EFMP family upon notification of assignment to offer support services.  Conducts interviews with clients and their families.  Establishes and maintains a case file for each assigned EFMP family that includes the Installation Support Privacy Consent Form and detailed contact notes.  Assesses individual client and family circumstances upon and during enrollment to track progress of activity and provide updated information on services to improve quality of life. 

Serves as an advocate for and assists Marines and their families in accessing available resources and services to support individual needs.  Participates in meetings between Marine families and special needs support professionals to develop the Individual Education Plan (IEP).  Assist families in assertively pursuing rights to resources available to them.  Prepares evaluations and recommendations to assist eligible members in connecting with appropriate resources and services.  Assists in coordinating referral for care and resources with internal and external referral sites in the local area.  

Educates referral sources, community agencies and service organizations regarding scope and management of the EFMP.  Maintains a detailed and consolidated portfolio of services for special needs families at the command and in the local community.  Participates in coordination and execution of special needs camps, support groups for EFMP families, special events and workshops coordinated by the EFMP.  Assists in checking that EFMP staff complete training in compliance with Marine Corps Order (MCO) 1754.4.

Maintains personal records of staff training completion for review by the respective manager.  Participates as assigned in the Special Needs Evaluation and Review Team (SNERT) as outlined in MCO 1754.4.  Participates in the maintenance and development of a library of special needs educational, referral and resource materials.  Works with assigned families to coordinate use of the EFMP Respite Care Program. Works in concert with the EFMP team to ensure the program works effectively to support families while maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory guidance. Organizes work and sets short and long term priorities.

Uses knowledge of Department of Defense, Department of Navy, and Marine Corps Nonappropriated Fund rules and regulations for the procurement of a wide range of commercial equipment, supplies, services, and construction.  Performs pre-award and post award contract functions to include solicitation development, financial analysis, negotiation and contract administration supporting the Regional Procurement Office (RPO) and Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) activities.  Requirements typically involve state of the art information technology and professional services in a variety of specialty areas such as retail, behavioral health, recreation, education, financial services and Marine and Family Programs.

Uses knowledge of various types of contracts, methods of contracting and selection factors to plan strategies to procure complex requirements and conduct negotiations in pre-award and post award phases of contracting.  Reviews requests, analyzes requirements, and recommends revisions to statements of work or specifications.  Decides on type of contract, milestones and procurement plans. Reviews justifications for single or sole source procurement actions and prepares documentation.

Uses knowledge of a variety of: program objectives, technical services and commercial business practices to identify sources, analyze financial data and proposals to participate in planning, negotiation and administration.

Analyzes proposals for conformance with the solicitation.  Performs financial analysis to determine price reasonableness.   Coordinates technical evaluation to determine acceptability of technical proposals.   Obtains pre-award surveys to establish contactor responsibility and obtains audits and pricing reports to develop negotiation strategy.  Negotiates with potential contractors.  Awards contracts within delegated contracting officer authority or recommends award to contracting officer. Conducts post award conferences and debriefings.  Responds to protests of contract awards, contractor complaints and inquiries relating to procurement action.

Performs contract administration functions until final delivery and payments are completed and contracts are closed and retired.  Performs warning and termination actions as required.  May personally monitor contractor's performance via telephone conversations, correspondence, reports and visits for status of contract performance, scheduling, problems and proposed solutions and verification of deliveries.  Interprets contract provisions for contractors and MR/MCCS officials. Negotiates contract modifications.   Renders decisions on contractor complaints, inquiries relating to procurement actions and claims.  In consultation with the supervisor develops priorities and critical deadlines.  Independently coordinates and carries out work and resolves most problems that occur. Serves as NAF Purchase Card Agency Program Coordinator (APC).  Ensures approving officials and purchase card holders comply with MR purchase card policy and procedures, including training, review, and account maintenance.  Monitors transactions, reconciliation procedures, and maximizes command use of purchase card.  Ensures PII compliance in the handling of personal data.

Maintains contract files pertaining to all phases of procurement from solicitation to contract award, post award administration, and final retirement of files.  Composes clear, concise and effective original correspondence and memoranda.   Monitors organizational participation in system wide contracts and joint contracts with sister services as required.

Uses federal procurement laws, command contracting regulations, instructions and Comptroller General decisions as reference to complete work.  Interprets guidelines to determine extent of relevance.  Exercises experience judgment, initiative and resourcefulness to identify aspects regulations and laws for application, to design new provisions or innovative financial arrangements to develop justifications that include modifications that may deviate from usual practice.

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for the administration and management of the MCCS Facilities and Maintenance, which includes overseeing facility and maintenance repair and projects, renovations, minor construction, budgeting, contract and bid proposals, facility planning, project planning, design contracting, project administration and control, and repair and maintenance of equipment in support of activities. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the construction repair and alteration of buildings and outdoor facilities. They will review and approve drawings and blueprints and provide recommendations to Operating Directors on interior space planning, workstation layout, vehicle access, and space management. Moreover, the incumbent will act as the primary point of contact with Base and Headquarters elements on construction and maintenance matters.

Plan, organize work, and manage internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepare internal office financial plans and related records and reports, and exercise authority on the approved budget. Regularly monitor programs and take corrective action to ensure support of operating programs of MCCS. Manage new property resources and may provide direction on facility renovations and improvements. The Firearms Specialist provides a Dress Blue Experience, and executes departmental procedures and follows all firearms regulations. Reports to the Department Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Operations Manager or Store Manager. Focuses on delivering a best in class customer experience and driving strong customer engagement with the firearms department.  Focuses on solution based selling, offering applicable accessories and services to the customer in addition to the firearm.  Required to strictly adhere to all governing bodies’ processes/requirements including but not limited to: ATF, FFL, DOD, Marine Corps, State, Corporate and local command for selling, handling, receiving, transferring, inventory management, and records management for all weapons and ammunitions.
