Summary of Role:
The Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Finance will partner with Supply Chain Management to extract hidden competitive advantages in the company’s sourcing, procurement, logistics and distribution chain. This job will create structural transparency and accountability using KPIs. Create and implement a clear strategic vision of how Finance can enable supply chain to optimize the business and organization. Build an organization of analysts to partner with the Operation to achieve financial commitments.
Provide strategic business leadership with Executive Supply Chain Management on initiatives and sequencing to create a company competitive advantage in sourcing, production, logistics, distribution, and procurement cost and sourcing
Be one of the organizations strongest change catalysts and set that pace within your team of analysts
Develop multi-year cost and capacity target and glide paths in line with revenue and profitability targets through production and sourcing strategies
Develop cash targets, inventory goals and BOM targets that tie back to P&L model financial goas.
Lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes and the monthly forecasting process for the consolidated Supply Chain.
Create predictable, sustainable and repeating finance processes. Drive continuous improvement in current processes

CLASS DESCRIPTION
The Baltimore City Department of Finance (DOF) is currently seeking three experienced Procurement Specialists who review, analyze, and develop complex contracts for the procurement of specialized services and technology for City Agencies. This is a senior level, procurement Specialist II position that may involve leading the work of other Procurement or para-procurement professionals. This position primarily develops solicitations to be advertised, evaluates responses and makes award recommendations. It also provides professional consult to the City agencies to determine the best method of procurement and guide them through from cradle to grave.
A Procurement Specialist II reviews, analyzes, and develops highly complex procurement contracts for the procurement of specialized services and technology for City agencies. Work of this class may involve leading professional and paraprofessional procurement employees but does not involve full supervisory duties or responsibilities.
Employees receive minimum to moderate supervision from a Procurement Manager. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office setting where there is no exposure to environmental hazards. Work requires minimal physical exertion.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
AND
EXPERIENCE: Have three years of procurement experience including procurement planning and solicitation preparation, contract development, negotiation, and contract administration, with emphasis in utilizing complex Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Quote (RFQs).
OR
Have a master's degree from an accredited college or university; two years of procurement experience including procurement planning and solicitation preparation, contract development, negotiation, and contract administration, with an emphasis in utilizing complex RFP's IFB's, RFI's, and RFQs.
OR
Have a Juris Doctor from an accredited school of law; and one year of procurement experience to include but not limited to procurement planning and solicitation preparation, contract development, negotiation, and contract administration, with emphasis in utilizing complex RFPs, IFBs, RFIs, and RFQs.
OR
CPPB designation and five years of experience within the previous ten years. A minimum of 50% of the required years of experience must be in government or public sector.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
The Baltimore City Department of Finance (DOF) is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager. A Procurement Manager plans, organizes, and directs a group of procurement professionals engaged in purchasing and procurement business processes that entails contracting for commodities and services and reviewing Procurement Specialist work. The Procurement Manager serves in a management and leadership role in the Bureau of Procurement. This position plays a key role in contributing in the development and achievements relating to Bureau of Procurement Strategic Planning and other projects as assigned, i.e. COOP (Continuity of Operations Planning). Work of this class involves supervising professional and paraprofessional personnel in addition to being responsible for approval paths of work product in accordance with established thresholds.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
AND
EXPERIENCE: 7 years of procurement experience to include 3 years of supervisory experience.
OR
EQUIVALENCIES: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university; 5 years of procurement experience to include 3 years of supervisory experience.
OR
Juris Doctor from an accredited school of law; 3 years of procurement experience; 3 years of supervisory experience.
OR

General Function / Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for daily operations and profitability of one or more of our retail locations. This role is accountable for site operations, sales, customer service, and store level leadership.
Essential Duties:
Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to customers that meet their needs.
Interact with customers, using active listening skills, to confirm or clarify information and diffuse customer complaints.
Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations (DDO) and Corporate Office if unable to resolve the issue directly with the customer.
Respond professionally and accurately customers in response to general questions, customer applications, requests, customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with federal regulations, store operating procedures, and district or region volume expectations.
Handle and count currency, cash, and coins to include managing a cash drawer, counting cash deposits, moving cash from secure safe to cash drawer, and other cash handling requirements; may be responsible for bank deposits or bank pick-ups.
Balance individual batch receipts with store sales reports at end of day and assist with resolving over/short discrepancies.
Perform customer verifications to validate information presented.
Process all transactions accurately and per company policy, including but not limited to loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
Comply with federal and state regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree timely.
Coordinate operations, development, and training necessary for store achieving metric targets.
Maintain store staff schedule and assist covering other stores within the district.
Support store staff to ensure excellent customer service and embodiment of sales culture.
Assist District Director of Operations with the recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Customer Service Representatives in the district.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling
1+ year of supervisory experience preferred
Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership
Must have own personal reliable transportation in compliance with published policy and procedure, this may not include public transportation, transportation from family or friends, must maintain a valid Driver’s License and valid Automobile Insurance while employed by the company
