Job Scope :
- Coordinate across various engineering competencies in order to develop the required technical solution for customer quotes.
- Analyze requirements (Customer and Internal)
- Decompose requirements into architectural blocks, I/O interfaces and system requirements/design that are assigned to various engineering team.
- Serve as central technical interface between the customers and the project team.
- Generate and manage product mechanizations and block diagrams
- Generate and manage requirements compliance matrix
- Including ASIL decomposition and cybersecurity control mechanism impacts
- Generate and manage Product Technical Documents to capture product requirements and implementation.
- Assist EE/ME with Bill of Materials for various electronics and power electronic products
- Estimate engineering related project development costs such as people, capital, and expenses
- Perform system level design of microcontroller-based modules for various electronics and Power electronics product
- Create customer technical review presentations as needed
- Support and review cost improvement ideas.
- Maintain industrial awareness of Automotive propulsion solution and technologies
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years’ of relevant working experience
- Experience in Electronic products design (Automotive or Power Electronics)
- Good foundation knowledge in hardware embedded systems
- Knowledge of electric and Hybrid electric vehicle drive systems and applications.
- Familiarity with Inverter, DCDC Converter, Onboard Charger, Battery Management System or Motor control
- Familiarity with ASPICE, Functional Safety and Cyber Security development an added advantage
- Familiarity with requirements management tool eg. Polarion, Doors, etc
- Familiarity high voltage power semiconductor device technology such as Silicon IGBT, SiC MOSFETs
- Must be comfortable working multiple programs in a fast-paced work environment.
