Job Title: Compliance Officer
Location: Home based with occasional travel across London
Salary: £33,232 per annum FTE (Including London Weighting)
This is a fixed term contract up until until 31 March 2025 with potential to extend.
The Compliance Officer will ensure the Get Ahead Work Experience programme is delivered in full compliance of the Greater London Authority (GLA) programme specific requirements and UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) regulations, by use of detailed knowledge of the applicable rules.
The post holder will lead on internal and external audits of the project from within Education Development Trust (EDT), GLA or SPF and will conduct detailed checks and reviews that ensure project activities, funding claims and project deliverables are at all times fully compliant with all requirements. You will also be expected to attend meetings with the GLA Team face to face on a quarterly basis.
The Compliance Officer will carry out a broad range of regular and ad-hoc administrative services and tasks for and with managers, colleagues, customers and contract clients to support the achievement of the programme outcomes.
You will have the following:
Knowledge, Essential:
Educated to minimum GCSE Grade C / Level 2 / equivalent in Maths and English
An understanding of and commitment to confidentiality and data security
Demonstrable detailed knowledge of relevant compliance processes
Demonstrable detailed knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR
Experience, Essential:
Working within a busy team, building and maintaining effective relationships
Compliance checking, accuracy checking or auditing for the purpose of submitting accurate claims
Managing multiple tasks and working to strict deadlines
