Your new role

You'll be bringing Industry 4.0 to high-tech manufacturing, using our software to control robots, talk to machines and ultimately boost chip production.

As a Front-End software developer, you will support our customers on their journey to fully automated production through the implementation of versatile user interfaces. You will work closely with your colleagues in Germany as part of our international teams.

What you'll do

• Design and develop operating concepts and user interfaces for production control and monitoring
• UI development for customer projects
• Work in a team, especially aligning closely with the back-end software developers
• Assisting product development
• Migrate applications from Desktop to Web technology

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering OR
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in front-end development
• Solid knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, ideally in Java
• Confident with CSS and style libraries (Bootstrap, etc.)
• Familiar with Spring Boot, Database and SQL
• Interest in the design of SPA
• Analytical thinking, creativity and enjoyment of complex processes and tasks
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written

Your new role

As a Solution Architect, you will provide our customers consultation & solution, requirement gathering, designing and distributing tasks to team members. You will work closely with your colleagues in Germany as part of our international teams.

What you'll do

• Requirements analysis and analysis of the integration capabilities of the customer's existing or planned systems and facilities
• Align with customers on automation scenarios
• Solution design and planning/distribution of team activities
• Quality assurance and maintenance of the developed software

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering AND
• At least 6 years working experience including experience as Solution Architect in software & automation field in semiconductor industry
• Object oriented analysis, design and implementation
• Knowledge in Java or other object oriented programming language such as C#
• Structured working style and strong in analysis & conceptional thinking
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel
• Interest in technology & automation

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer at  Ezi Motartech Sdn Bhd, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that are scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our business and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Ensure the security and scalability of web applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development.
• Work in an agile environment, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in PHP with a focus on backend development.
• Extensive experience with the Laravel framework (minimum [Specify Years, e.g., 2 years]).
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM (Eloquent).
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, or React is a plus).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of modern development practices, including TDD, BDD, and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
