About the Position
The Student Success Coach plays a pivotal role in guiding and empowering students to achieve their full potential within the courses offered by the College of Vocational Education. Working directly with students across a range of programs, this role will employ specialist learning strategies and develop appropriate learning activities to support students to meet course learning outcomes. The Student Success Coach will be required to work collaboratively in a team-teaching situation with vocational teachers when providing specialist support to students with Language, Literacy and Numeracy needs.
The role also includes provision of targeted student support, identification of at-risk students, identification of barriers to academic success and referral to additional support services.
The incumbent will use their strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to engage students and work effectively with vocational teachers, influencing classroom practice where appropriate. You will have a proven track record supplying Language, Literacy and Numeracy support in an education background with a strong understanding of the VE sector and a demonstrated understanding of specialist LLN teaching methodologies.
Positions with either a Language, Literacy or Numeracy specialisation are available.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Interpersonal & Communication Excellence: Demonstrated ability in effective teaching, consultancy, and strong presentation with adeptness in various teaching techniques. This includes highly developed written and oral communication skills and effective partnership-building abilities.
LLN Expertise: Proficiency in delivering tailored strategies in LLN Speciality and well-developed teaching skills, including selecting and using a wide range of strategies appropriate to a diverse student population and the competency standards required such as direct instruction, scaffolding, and adjusted learning activities, coupled with experience in designing individualized plans considering students' well-being, cultural backgrounds, demographics and academic challenges.
Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-teaching environment to address LLN-specific needs and provide academic student support.
Support for At-Risk Students: Demonstrated capability to develop, implement, and review strategies ensuring guidance for students at risk.
Technology Integration in Learning: Ability to integrate technology into learning programs, emphasizing the enhancement of student outcomes, and proficiency in computer-based skills, including Windows software and internet tools.
Student Engagement & Motivation: Proven track record in creating engaging learning activities and guiding students to maximize their learning outcomes.

About the Role
The Senior Manager, Planning and Operations is accountable for providing high level strategic planning, business advice and support to the Dean and School Executive and ensures the effective and efficient delivery of services to support the School's activities and objectives.
The Senior Manager, Planning and Operations is a member of the School Executive team and works collaboratively with all members of School and College management teams and with staff to ensure that the school achieves its strategic objectives and actively participates in meeting College and University strategic objectives.
The position reports to the Dean of School with a very close working relationship with the General Manager College Operations to ensure alignment with College strategic objectives and efficient and effective service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to lead, direct and influence others with a proven capacity to network, build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external groups.
Highly developed business writing skills and demonstrated experience producing comprehensive recommendations, project and implementation plans, briefing papers and reports.

Ability to work collaboratively (and in partnership with other teams) to achieve identified goals.
Experience in successfully developing and implementing planning frameworks aligned to College and University strategy.
A Bachelor of Business/HRM/Finance aren’t mandatory but will be highly valued.

About You
As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality project support, administrative support and secretarial functions (e.g. diary and email management) to the ADVCA, ADVCS&I and designated senior members of the team, as requested by the ADVCA or General Manager College Operations. About You
Working within an interdisciplinary team, the Academic Skills Advisor (ASA) is responsible for enhancing students’ academic outcomes in language, academic writing, mathematics, and science. This role includes supporting First Nation’s academics.
The ASA provides strategic and targeted delivery of specialised learning support that is designed to maximise access and inclusion. With a ‘digital first’ model, we create digital learning resources that enable a truly global service. A priority for this position is digital fluency for digital literacy and the creation of digital learning objects, using systems and platforms that are fit for purpose.
Our service model provides study support online for all students across all cohorts, through online Study Support consultations and in-person across libraries in Study Support Hubs.
We require a culture capable of adapting and evolving to meet the needs and expectations of the Library and to define and develop digital pedagogical products that will add the greatest value. Change and innovation are underpinned by collecting and using data to make evidence-based decisions and analytics to demonstrate value and impact.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
The ability to deliver educational online study support services across a range of online platforms.
An understanding of curriculum architecture and pedagogical design principles to embed skills development workshops and e-resources in CMS Canvas.
Competency in digital pedagogical products to design and develop e-resources to enhance students’ academic language, literacy, math and science learning outcomes. This includes supporting first nation academics.
An understanding in the delivery of specialised learning support designed to maximise access and inclusion in one of specialist areas: English language, academic writing, mathematics, or science.
