Role

Our Customer Service department at Zeal Group are the supportive function that helps our clients with products/ services. Ultimately they are here to fill in the gaps/ frictions within our product. Our product is self-explanatory. We would love for our client journey to become as smooth as possible, but as we are not entirely there yet so we are looking for a Customer Service Associate come onboard and bridge any gaps visible between our customers and products. Our end goal is to have a seamless experience whilst continuously improving as the days go by. We are looking to continuously exceed customer expectations

What you will be doing :

• Reach out to customers via outbound calls, emails, and other channels to establish and maintain communication.
• Proactively engage with users to enhance platform loyalty and resolve any issues they encounter.
• Encourage users to complete account funding and other platform-related actions.
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure timely and comprehensive resolution of user inquiries.
• Attend and participate in daily huddle to understand key highlights on area of focus, new updates, what went well and learning points from previous day.
• Responsible to provide good customer experience on every interaction with clients.
• Embrace ZFX core values and embed these values into the day-to-day tasks when serving clients and dealing with internal stakeholders.

Experience & Skills:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree.
• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in customer service / contact centre.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address challenges independently.
• Excellent Mandarin communication skills to convey information accurately and understand customer needs.
• Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to think from the user’s perspective and provide tailored solutions.
• Adaptability to handle diverse situations and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Effective teamwork skills to work seamlessly with other departments.
• Experience gained in FX/Finance industry will be an added advantage.

What you will be doing :

• Assist in developing and nurturing relationships with IB partners by providing day-to-day support and guidance.
• Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new IB partners, ensuring smooth integration.
• Monitor and track IB performance metrics, preparing reports and insights for program improvements.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns targeted at IBs and their clients.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate events and activities aimed at engaging IB partners, including webinars, networking sessions, and recognition programs.
• Assist in developing and managing PR communication strategies to keep IB partners informed and engaged, including newsletters, updates, and announcements.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues for IB partners promptly, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining professional relationships.
• Support the compliance team in monitoring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a strong IB pipeline by actively identifying and engaging potential partners.

Experience & Skills:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in IB services, Forex, financial services, event management, or public relations will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of the Forex and fintech markets, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Experience in event planning and coordination, as well as public relations or communications, is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools or CRM systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services is a plus.
• Must be able to work on shifts.
• Mandarin language proficiency is mandatory.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Assist the Customer Success Manager with managing the entire range of day-to-day operations of the business and team. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact and develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers to ensure business objectives are met.
• Take ownership of escalated issues and follow problems through to resolution by collaborating with internal teams to remediate.
• Use customer data and analytics to uncover opportunities for new feature adoption and up-selling, including weekly and monthly reporting.
• Supports the wider Customer Success team with decision-making, analytical / creative solutioning.
• Oversee the range of portfolio of key accounts (Solutions) under the MY market segment with ownership of some key accounts.
• Assist the Commercial team with special projects and initiatives. 

REQUIREMENTS

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Previous experience in customer / key account management within the logistics industry is beneficial. 
• Previous leadership / team management experience is mandatory. 
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to communicate across all levels of internal and external stakeholders. 
• Logical and analytical approach problem solving and stakeholder management. 
• Being able to efficiently multi-task and offer timely communication, action and resolution.

• Respond to client's issue and enquiries promptly through phone call, email, chat, and internal software
• Introduce and demonstrate the system to customers such as account registration, job posting and etc
• Responsible to escalate clients' issues to the sales team.

• Developing a comprehensive understanding of the EcoVadis platform, processes, and practices to ensure quality assistance with incoming customer queries; continuous learning is necessary as we expand service offerings and make improvements
• Understanding and communicating industry best practices and the evolution of EcoVadis product, platform functionality, methodology, and administrative services integral to the customer's success
• Capturing internal and customer-sourced insights, then proactively reporting and contributing as necessary with the Team Leader, Management, and other EcoVadis BUs to bridge gaps that may exist between customer expectations and participation
