• Cooperate with country Business Analyst to secure the correct setup of local articles, promotions and combos, prices etc.

• Providing the management with business information such as regular and ad-hoc reports, KPIs, activity follow-ups

• Identify articles requiring inventory spot-checks and coordinate the spot-checks

• Support management with monthly accrual process

• Carry out all actions in accordance with local laws as well as IKEA internal rules and guideline

We are seeking a passionate Retail Assistant Store Manager who will be starting in this new division in PRISM+ Malaysia. This driven and ambitious individual will be overseeing and maximizing sales of the company through the retail sales channel at Sunway Velocity Mall. Responsibilities of a Retail Assistant Sales Manager but are not limited to:
Daily store operations 

• Manage, count, verify, and reconcile daily cash register sales
• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, while providing quality customer service; answer questions about products and recommend them accordingly
• Perform opening and closing procedures effectively according to store policies and procedures

• Process and replenish merchandise and ensured stock availability

Team management

• Co-Lead retail team to maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards of the store
• Create a positive work environment by motivating and encouraging the team to foster good relationships with one another
• Recruit and hire new store employees
• Responsible for training and onboarding new employees
• Create and manage store schedules 

Sales

• Set, monitor and achieve/exceed retail sales targets to drive improvement in company ranking
• Sales reporting: provides timely sales reports and analysis, making recommendations and flagging risks regarding anticipated shortfalls.
• Working close with company’s management, plan and implement suitable incentives and push out plans to boost sales

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant course of studies
• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry
• Well versed in retail store processes and systems, proficient in Excel/ PowerPoint
• Prior experience in malls landlord relations
  

Skills/Experience Preferred:

• Data-driven with ability to analyse data for stocks forecasting
• Strong Communication (English/Chinese/Malay) and people skills
• Passionate in engaging customers and providing excellent service

You will play an important role to:

• Develop marketing strategies and take lead the production of marketing materials to promote the trade show
• Partner with sales, project, and marketing team to work out effective marketing campaigns to engage audiences, and undertake campaign planning and execution for multi-channel and cross device marketing by proposition to deliver campaign metrics
• Translate marketing strategies into practical campaign execution metrics including acquisition targets, customer engagement and retention targets, brand awareness and new proposition development and other innovation goals
• Develop of new initiatives to engage with established and new audience segments, and support the growth of both existing and new brands in the event portfolio
• Develop content strategy with wider marketing and related teams (e.g. Creative), to define specific content, customer experience and target journeys by channel and specific measurable goals to inform optimisation and RoI
• Manage processes and platforms to ensure appropriate visibility and tracking of multi-channel conversion and channel attribution
• Leverage in depth audience understanding to better target / personalise marketing content that resonate with audiences at the right time
• Manage budgets for specific campaigns and optimises spend according to metrics
• Support ongoing focus on analysis and data driven decision making to allow more efficient use of time and marketing spend to focus attention on results, experiences and performance
