• Accounting Exception Management:

Proactively monitors exception reports to identify problems on accounts, analyze exceptions and to effectively resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders, and by building partnership with operational teams. 

• Timely and Accurate Accounting Processing:

Depending on the role, one or both of the below may apply to the accounting clerk.

Payables:

Manages the accounts payables processes, including setting-up service provider accounts, receive, review, approve and records payables accurately and timely, as per Expeditors’ accounting policies. Manages the disbursement process to ensure service providers are paid accurately and timely.

Receivables:

Manages the accounts receivables process, including receiving, safeguarding, and recording customers’ receipts, as per Expeditors’ accounting policies. Assists in the credit management process to ensure customers remain within agreed credit and payment terms.

• Record receipts in exp.o Accounting system and allocate per the remittance advice, ensuring no receipts are left unallocated at month end and provide support to the Banking/Treasury team for unidentified receipts.
• Generate and deliver timely Statements and perform timely reconciliations.
• Provide up to date detailed collection notes listing actions on every past-due invoice in the ARCM system (Accounts Receivable Collection Management).
• Maintain a filing system in accordance to internal and local document retention policies (i.e. upload the remittance advice to the deposit in exp.o Accounting).
• Proactively identify problem accounts and follow up queries via email/telephone to effectively resolve issues through building key relationships with Customers and Internal Staff.
• Produce Exception Reports for the Weekly AR Meeting per company AR Goals (Aging Analysis, No Bad Debt, 100% Collection within Terms, No OCL (Over Credit Limit)) and maintain meeting minutes.
• Prepare the bad debt calculation (Trade AR Allowance) and the bad debt roll forward schedule for the monthly P&L.
• Assist Controller with Credit tasks in line with the Global Credit Policy (maintain Customer payment terms, company rating & risk rating; evidence in e.doc Global Lookup the establishment and approval of credit in the BCR system (Branch Credit Request) and performance of annual credit reviews).
• Setup and maintain Service Provider account in exp.o GCI.
• Record payable header in exp.o Accounting system upon receipt and distribute to Internal Staff for allocation details.
• Review and submit payable detail in exp.o Accounting system, ensuring overhead expenses are allocated to the correct cost center, operational costs are matched against the appropriate provision, and Tax is accounted for.
• Perform Service Provider payable audits on a regular basis to check rates to agreed rates and services are accounted for in the correct product and cost GL.
• Review and approve Employee Expense Reimbursements in Concur system providing valid supporting documentation is attached, record journal in exp.o Accounting per Concur extract and perform monthly GL reconciliation.
• Verify Service Provider payables by reconciling to Service Provider Statements, ensure invoices are approved in time to meet established payment cycle.
• Schedule and prepare payments in exp.o Accounting system and the Banking system.
• Maintain a filing system in accordance to internal and local document retention policies (i.e. upload the invoice to the payable and the vendor statement to the payment in exp.o Accounting).
• Proactively identify problem accounts and follow up exceptions prior to submitting the payable via email/telephone to effectively resolve issues through building key relationships with Service Providers and Internal Staff.
• Assist Controller with payable Tax reporting requirements.
• Assist in Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits by preparing required information/documentation.
• Support Accounting Department with miscellaneous projects and assignments.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Operations

• Create and maintain an effective department organization chart, which is designed for flexibility and growth
• Prepare, execute, monitor and update at regular intervals the business plan for the department
• Monitor and improve key departmental productivity indicators.
• Instill and foster a climate of compliance at all times to regulations.  This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies/requirements.
• Map and understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency to offer customers better cycle times and service as well as controlling costs.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are documented and kept up to date in the Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures database.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others)
• Work to be our vendors lowest cost customer through electronic booking, shipper built units, and other creative local market solutions to lower overall cost for both parties.
• Evaluate vendors at defined intervals per company policy, focusing on areas of possible improvement with corrective action plans where needed.
• Regularly read and review business and trade journals and attend industry events to further market and industry knowledge.
• Actively develop business for department through active involvement in sales and retention process and close coordination with sales department
• Complete 5 Sales and/or Retention Calls per week and ensure they are documented in the CRS database
• Ensure Customer reviews are completed with your regular customers
• Pro-actively provide pricing alternatives, routing solutions and technical assistance to clients through internal sales both regional and global
• Respond to requests for proposal, quotation or information timely and with market competitive pricing matching the scope of service required by the customer

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced accountant to help run the finance function of our South-East Asia region which covers Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting for our entities in South-East Asia which includes performing accounting, managing accrual and deferrals, preparing bank reconciliations and related schedules to the balance sheet.

JOB SUMMARY 

Overall responsible for supporting and administrative tasks and activities pertaining to the Human Resources function such as employee benefits, employee training application on HR information systems (HRIS - i.e SFront), employee data and filing administration, recruitment activities, and all other HR admin-related functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and maintain employee data in the HRIS system to ensure all employee reports generated from the HRIS system and other related processing are current and accurate.
• Organize and administer employees' personal files to ensure all important and necessary documentations are well kept and filed.
• Attend to employees' queries on the Employee Self Service (ESS) applications of the HRIS (i.e SFront) such as leave applications, personal particular updates, attendance systems, etc. Also to provide briefing and/or hiring training to employees as and when necessary.

1. Negotiate with 3PL cold chain transporters and external warehouse storage quotation and review in quarterly basis base on market trend to strive lower delivery cost.
2. Liaise and co-ordinate with logistic companies to ensure smooth operations and delivery of goods to customers to achieve OTIF KPI Target.
3. Perform depot management to ensure optimum stock level and order fulfillment.
4. To guide and coach the new personnel on their operation duties.
5. Perform cold chain quality management and audit to ensure no cold chain break in delivery, depot, 3PL facilities, and distributor storage and practice high hygiene standard.
6. To maintain in good condition the depot and equipment provided by the company.
7. To implement operations policies, procedures, safety & regulations.
8. To ensure documentations, report & market and customer intelligence are channeled to the relevant departments on a timely manner.
9. To build strong internal and external relationship in order to solve customers' complaints & problems through understanding and negotiations.
10. Review and monitor daily last mile delivery operation to increase truck load utilization and engage with sales team to improve order for low utilization route to achieve cost saving.
11. Cooperate with Plant first mile logistics team to ensure timely delivery to depot and distributor in order to ensure meeting last mile delivery KPI target.
12. To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.

We are seeking a passionate Retail Assistant Store Manager who will be starting in this new division in PRISM+ Malaysia. This driven and ambitious individual will be overseeing and maximizing sales of the company through the retail sales channel at Queens Bay Mall. Responsibilities of a Retail Assistant Sales Manager but are not limited to:

Daily store operations 

• Manage, count, verify, and reconcile daily cash register sales
• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, while providing quality customer service; answer questions about products and recommend them accordingly
• Perform opening and closing procedures effectively according to store policies and procedures

• Process and replenish merchandise and ensured stock availability

Team management

• Co-Lead retail team to maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards of the store
• Create a positive work environment by motivating and encouraging the team to foster good relationships with one another
• Recruit and hire new store employees
• Responsible for training and onboarding new employees
• Create and manage store schedules 

Sales

• Set, monitor and achieve/exceed retail sales targets to drive improvement in company ranking
• Sales reporting: provides timely sales reports and analysis, making recommendations and flagging risks regarding anticipated shortfalls.
• Working close with company’s management, plan and implement suitable incentives and push out plans to boost sales

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant course of studies
• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry
• Well versed in retail store processes and systems, proficient in Excel/ PowerPoint
• Prior experience in malls landlord relations

• Data-driven with ability to analyse data for stocks forecasting
• Strong Communication and people skills

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

The ASEAN Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with System Integrators, End Users & Customers and the broader RFID ecosystem across ASEAN.

The successful candidate will also handle project management for technically complex requirements, participate in technical field testing and troubleshoot customer issues. 

Additionally, the ASEAN Sales Manager will drive developmental pilots in target segments from conceptualization to commercialization. 

This role will also require the candidate to actively manage opportunity pipeline management through to commercialization including sales and business development pipeline generation and conversion.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Develop sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue targets
• Liaise with other functions, including product development and production teams, to ensure achievement of sales objectives
• Track, collate and interpret sales figures
• Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
• Manage existing accounts/customers
• Engage directly with customers and business partners on both technical and non-technical levels to ensure superior support service

Responsible for private equity fund product selling and business development

Plan and execute promotion activities and conduct performance analysis

Achieve sales and business targets, including client acquisition and agency building, by promoting the firm’s investment products to local and overseas high net worth clients

• Prior experience working in wealth management or financial services is preferred
• 3 years sales experience in financial industry
• Familiar with wealth management related products and market knowledge
• Strong communication and coordination skills - ability to work and communicate effectively across teams
• Fluent in Chinese and English

Remuneration Package:

1. Basic Salary: RM5,500 to RM6,800

2. Commission: 2.5%
