Primary Responsibilities

Marketing Management

• Develops a public relations program for the hotel based on its marketing goals. Liaises with Marketing in targeting specific markets and developing the public relations strategies to reach these markets

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• 5-7+ years of treasury or related finance experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building or managing treasury functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modeling tools.

About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong focus on Business Development and Partnership Onboarding to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities 

• Identify and engage key potential partners in Malaysia across industries with huge customer bases, i.e. Telco, Travel, e-Commerce and Hospitality, Banking / Payments to generate business leads.
• Develop a comprehensive offering around digital insurance products and solutions, conduct effective pitching to prospective partners, and execute acquisition plans comprehensively and promptly.
• Design and present proposals and quotations to potential partners.
• Act as the first point of contact for potential partners inquiries, relaying them to the relevant department(s).
• Manage account activities under care, and optimize business relationships by providing strategic advice and strong support to drive up partners business activities.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and quality onboarding of new partners and related product launches.
• Work closely with external stakeholders, including partners and insurers to establish and ensure insurance services policies, procedures, and contracting processes are by the company's business standards.

• 5-8 years of experience in sales and business development in General Insurance sector 
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business, Management, Planning, Marketing
• Experience in general insurance / insurtech / fintech companies and/or technology, services companies would be advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and excellent communications skills to manage multiple stakeholders, self-motivated and proactive, with a desire to be hands-on and creative to deliver outcomes
• Preferably have experience or exposure to project managing API integrations and understanding its limitations, but not must.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu is a must (both spoken and written) due to the business needs

Leads the Data Governance team, focusing on data accuracy, security, and compliance.

• Develop and implement data governance policies.
• Ensure compliance with data-related regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for total cost management of projects delivering positive outcomes for our clients, demonstrating leadership and coaching to Graduate CM, and innovation of service and knowledge.
• Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with reasonable supervision and guidance

As a Software Engineering Manager in Finexus’ R&D department, you will lead the company’s next generation of products and technologies. You will oversee a combination of company-wide platforms & frameworks meant to accelerate and modernize the company’s entire tech stack. 

You will report directly to the R&D Director and your initial scope will be Backend Platform, covering: 

• Development frameworks – Microservice frameworks (for Java & Python), Data Platform (OLTP), Data Engineering (OLAP) 
• Deployment Infrastructure - CI/CD & Test Automation, Monitoring & Observability, Docker & K8s Infra. 
• AI/ML Infra – supporting applications such as eKYC, credit scoring, document analysis, fraud detection. 

Your team's platform will be deployed company-wide to improve development efficiency and bring modern technologies and standards to new and legacy applications.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field. 
• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with 2+ years as a lead or manager. 
• Experience in a mix of MNCs and local companies is preferred. 
• Experience in small-medium fast-paced companies or startups is a plus. 
• Experience in fintech, banking or AI is a plus. 
• Strong programming skills in either Java or Python (Java experience preferred) 
• Familiarity with a modern tech stack, and expertise in a few components of it. Preferably: 
• At least 1 year of experience in releasing software products within a CI/CD environment 
• At least 1 year experience working with cloud services
