What You Will Do  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Design, develop, test, integrate and maintain quality firmware for eHDD using best practices like unit test, CI and Agile methodologies.  

• Design and implementation of data structures, software algorithms, data path, and drivers for hardware cores using latest standards C++ and Python.   

• Participate in significant technical investigations from problem statement to conclusions.  

• Creates design documents pertinent to the various phases of firmware development.  

• Devise strategies for in-depth functionality and compatibility testing of complex drive features.

·Plan and execute all people and content marketing projects in the region, including Social Media Management, Content Creation, KOL engagement and Livestreaming.

Client Management

Join our team as the BIM Revit Modeller where you will be responsible for producing high-quality BIM models and drafting outputs across all project stages, from feasibility to as-built. This includes using tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and others to create 3D and 2D drawings, managing clash detection and resolution with software such as Navisworks and BIM360, and ensuring accurate documentation of critical components for Data Centre facilities. The role also involves creating models and drawings for leasing and marketing purposes.

Reporting to the Head of IP, Tech-Legal, and Legal Operations, you will collaborate with other Technology Legal Counsels and business stakeholders across all levels of Grab. As part of a regional team, you'll enhance our technology legal efforts.

This role will be onsite at Grab Office.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

Product Support and General Tech Legal Advisory:

• Partner with business, engineering, product, cybersecurity, country counsels, DPO, and privacy teams to ensure Grab's Products comply with regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Ensure Grab's Products are compliant and optimized for their intended use, including licensing for technology monetization.
• Conduct due diligence on existing Products and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop product-related procedures.
• Lead technology-mapping exercises and be the go-to expert for technology-related legal questions.
• Provide general advice to stakeholders on legal queries related to technology, such as Generative AI and LLMs.
• Advise key stakeholders on technology regulatory issues, including changes to cybersecurity regulations and technology risk management guidelines.

Procurement:

• Advise on and negotiate a range of technology procurement engagements, ensuring contracts align with Grab's needs.
• Oversee legal terms for software, cloud, SaaS, hardware, managed services, outsourcing, and latest technologies.
• Support 'sell-side' technology procurement negotiations.
• Collaborate with other teams (Procurement, Cybersecurity, Tax, Privacy, and DPO) to incorporate essential input into procurement contracts.
• Establish efficient processes for legal interactions with technology procurement stakeholders.

Transactions:

• Draft and negotiate technology-related transaction documents, including those tied to group M&A activities.
• Advise business and corporate finance teams on technology, licensing, IP commercial, data, and regulatory matters.
• Be a bridge between legal and technology/product teams, creating technology provisions, product descriptions, and work orders.

Legal Support for Assigned Departments:

• Advise on and negotiate a range of agreements and engagements specific to an Assigned Department.
• Provide specialized legal support to assigned Departments based on their unique requirements and processes.
