NEXTDC is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist skilled in creative design, presentation creation, and web design, with expertise in HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Google Ads. This role focuses on strategic marketing, advanced design, and UX to strengthen brand presence and optimise digital campaigns. Responsibilities include leading the creation of impactful designs, user-focused experiences, and professional presentations, while working with teams and agencies to deliver effective and visually appealing results across digital and print channels.
While primarily based in Kuala Lumpur, this role supports Australian-centric operations and will play a key part in the marketing team.
This role will report to the Head of Digital.
What will you do:
Creative Design
- Design visually engaging materials for digital ads, email templates, social media, and print using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva.
- Develop creative promotional and animated graphics for social media and websites, including illustrations and web assets.
- Create marketing materials such as mailers, ads, flyers, social media posts, signage, and handouts aligned with brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging AI tools to enhance creative outputs.
- Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, colour theory, and layout design.
UI/UX Development
- Use UI/UX tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms to develop interactive designs.
- Create user flows, personas, and wireframes tailored to client needs and behaviours for a seamless user experience.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine prototypes, resolve usability issues, and enhance design effectiveness.
- Apply the latest UX/UI principles and human-centred design methodologies to improve product experiences.
- Perform ongoing usability assessments and iterative enhancements to optimise designs.
Presentation Creation
- Design professional and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Translate complex ideas into compelling visuals using storytelling techniques and data visualisation.
Web-page Design
- Collaborate with web developers to design and optimise campaign landing pages using HubSpot CMS or similar tools.
- Create responsive layouts focused on UX, SEO, and conversions.
- Implement A/B testing strategies to enhance page performance.
Collaboration and Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing team in Australia, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure designs meet business and user requirements.
- Align UX strategies with marketing objectives to deliver intuitive experiences across all touchpoints.
Data-Driven Marketing and Analysis
- Analyse marketing data using tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and usability testing to guide design and campaign decisions.
- Create reports and dashboards to measure content performance and identify areas for improvement.
