About the role 

We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Igloo Insure. This full-time role is based in Kuala Lumpur and will play a crucial part in driving new business growth for our organisation. The role requires 75% seeking new businesses and 25% client account servicing.

Job Responsibilities 

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct research to identify new market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Analyze competitors and stay updated on industry developments.

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

• Identify and approach potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and other outreach methods.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Reactivates & engages dormant agents, business partners and sales agencies to increase overall activity ratio
• Achieves recruitment target of new business partners such as insurance agents, sales agencies and corporate accounts

Client Relationship Management:

• C# Web API: Develop and integrate C# Web APIs to extend and enhance the functionality of Dynamics 365.

Routine Operations

• Responsible for regular database change implementations, including SQL queries/updates, index modifications, data file management, account management, backup/recovery, and data synchronization/archiving;
• Conduct routine inspections, maintain database monitoring and alerts, ensuring all databases meet SLA standards;

Incident Response

• Promptly respond to database incidents, coordinating with internal and external expert teams to resolve production issues swiftly;

Project Support

Data analysis will be primarily qualitative, centered around the analysis of a company’s management system documentation. You will become an expert in applying the EcoVadis methodology, built on the most rigorous international Corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards and frameworks (for example: GRI, ISO 26000), already 15 years in evolution. • Review regularly updates regarding Ecovadis methodology and apply them to assessment process
