Duties/Responsibilities:

Training

• Assesses training and development needs (TNA) through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
• Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
• Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
• Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
• Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
• Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
• Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.
• Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
• Maintains knowledge and procedures and policies related to Training of the latest trends in training and development.
• Work collaboratively with Country Enablement(CE) team for HRDC grant application and planning.
• Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

Employee Engagement

• Oversee and manage employee well-being, Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, annual employee celebrations, festive events, sports & recreational endeavors, and other relevant functions in line with business requirements.
• Take the lead in Monitoring and Controlling Working Hours and play a key role in the RBA implementation processes and coordination.
• Handle Business Communications.
• Engage in quality control tasks, including involvement in IMS, RBA Audits, and other relevant business inspections.
• Performs other related duties as required.

About the Role

The role will be based in Kuching, Sarawak. The incumbent's responsibility is to deliver structured training and development programmes as prescribed by Premier Academy to the tied agency force.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver training programs that are intended to influence agency business performance that are unique to the respective tactical plans of the assigned region.
• Mentor agents inside and outside training session to constantly improve performance.
• Identify training needs of the agents in the assigned region, devise training plan and schedule courses to meet those needs.
• Assist with projects and tasks related to quality, efficiency, and business performance improvement.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 year(s) working experience in conducting face-to-face training and developing training materials (for a more sophisticated and advanced training program, different years of working experience may be required).
• Able to use relevant software / applications for the purpose of designing and developing training materials.
• Experienced working with Distribution Channels, which involve in sales and marketing of financial products is an added advantage.
