Knowledge of Aseptic Technique / Clean Room Experience preferred.

Nature and Scope
The packaging order handler performs an essential part of the serialization process. Serialization assigns a unique serial number to drug products in the form of a 2-D bar code for the purposes of tracking the product through each stage of the manufacturing and packaging process. The incumbent will be trained and then must fully understand the operation of the Optel bar coding system and equipment, and perform related functions including bar code scanning and computer system verification. Duties: Coordinate Chemistry Laboratory testing to ensure that all required samples (raw materials, in process, and finished products) are received and tested. The position hours are for third shift (11:00PM – 7:30AM, Sunday – Thursday). As such, upon hiring, individuals will be required to provide evidence of possessing 20/20 vision (corrective lenses allowed) and must undergo Color Blindness Screening (D15).
