Job Description:

• He/she shall possess recognized qualification as indicated and registered with SCDF.
• He/she will assist the FOM in managing all Fire Safety related work and duties of FSM stipulated in the Fire Safety Act and contract.
• He/she will conduct daily checks within the premises to report and remove any firehazard that is found within the premises.
• He/she will prepare and submit reports to the Authority on fire or other related matters when requested.
• He/she will also plan and coordinate the annual Fire Certificate renewal with respective user, PE etc before certificate expiry.
• He/she will prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises.
• He/she will plan and conduct fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner.

Job Description

• Deploy training systems, setup, configure, top up training consumables.
• Perform technical support and hot-swap, recovery, charging and logistics operations.
• Perform ‘O’ level PM and CM.
• Collection of survey reports, L&D reports
• Ensure serviceability of training systems, support equipment, upkeep of facility, proper storage allocation of equipment and inventory, mustering, annual stock-take, security audit.
• Ensure serviceability upkeep of warehouse facility and logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

1.Perform PM on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with maintenance checklist and ensure high quality workmanship.

2.Carry out any CM tasks and solve any problems encountered to ensure smooth operation in the maintenance works.

3. Effectively execute any other GSE Work Instructions.

4. Carry out the work activities to meet the quality standard and committed turn-around time (TAT).

5. Inspect and report any product / service problem and execute corrective action.

6. Provide feedback and suggestion to improve on work activities and procedures.

7. Note:Senior or Master Technician can be promoted to Workshop Supervisorto:

- Lead the team of Technicians (including the QCIs and storeman) in the performance of s/no 1-6 to ensures maintenance deadlines are met timely.
- Ensure the workshop facilities, such as housekeeping of shop floor, workshop equipment, tool stores, offices, etc. are in tip-top condition.
- Perform the roles of MCF Controller.
- To act as a customer call center and provide assistance to users on any technical and/or administrative related issues.
- To establish a scheduled plan for PM servicing and monitor them to achieve optimal serviceability to support operation.
- To track and manage the Estimated Time of Recovery (ETR) for PM and CM.
- To track the location of the equipment / vehicles owned by the customer.

Job Description & Requirements

AEROSPACE TECHICIAN (CONTRACT)

1. Platting and Coating Technician

• This role is to prepare the parts to be plated with protective coating such as to carry out production work as assigned by Team Leader.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks according to Team Leader's instructions to maintain 5S.
• To perform critical special processes such as: Chrome plating, Nickel Plating/cadmium plating, shot-peening, blasting, anodizing, heat treatment, passivation and HVOF stripping for major aircraft components.
• Carry out preparation and plating process according to technical instructions and routers
• Ensure that the quality level of the components repaired meets the specifications
• Carry out routine maintenance of plating tanks, equipment and fixtures (TPM daily, monthly and quarterly)
• Participate actively in contributing to HSE development and improvement
• Strict compliance to special process (plating, peering) instructions.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned.

2. Bushings Technicians

• This role is to carry out critical measurements of bushing requirements ensuring the bushings are correctly corrosion treated and installation of the bushings.
• Carry out production work as assigned by the Team Leader
• Carry out housekeeping tasks according to the Team Leader to maintan 6S.
• Carry out routine maintenance equipment and fixtures (TPM daily, monthly and quarterly)
• To work out the bush sizes for each job requirement
• Perform inspection of bushing received before sending for special processes (ie Plating,NDT)
• Install bushing, bearings, sleeves using machinery and hydraulic presses
• Execute bush boring to required size by means of light machining (ie honing and reaming)
• Perform surface preparation of component prior to sealant application by degreasing
• Prepare and apply sealant on aircraft component according to Component Maintenance Manual (CMM)
• Perform regular checks on equipment
• Secondly role in the Pre-assembly Section may include Spray Painting and Paint Booth Maintenance.
• Any Other duties as assigned

3. Landing Gear and Components Technicians

• Perform disassembly of landing gear and components
• Clean and strip paint for the components
• Bake and prepare parts for the segregation of components
• Perform part inspection IAW Component Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions to determine the serviceability of parts
• Ensure that the quality level of the repair and overhaul meets the specifications
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety and compliance procedures.
• Perform regular checks on equipment and maintain them in good condition
• Any other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to read blueprints, drawings or engineering information to determine the inspection criteria
• Able to apply math and use measuring instruments eg micrometers, calipers etc
