This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Adaptations Surveyor to join YHG, and work for an award-winning Adaptations Service. To assist with managing the delivery of major and minor adaptations within our customers’ homes.
To support the co-ordinators and manager of the team, to liaise and work alongside external stakeholders.
We are looking for a technically competent and motivated individual who has fantastic people skills for this customer focused role.
What will my working week look like?
We have properties in Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Staffordshire, and Yorkshire the successful candidate will cover all areas. You will also live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will have overall responsibility for the management and delivery of all major and minor adaptations on site for works YHG manage and deliver but to also to monitor the works that the local Authority deliver Review pre-contract design documentation. Attend pre-start, monitoring works in progress, record progress, handovers. Provide technical assistance. Ensure compliance with contract documents, construction regulations and best practice.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, colleagues and members of the public is paramount and so you will be expected to be fully conversant with all relevant Health & Safety legislation along with GDPR and Safeguarding.

About the role
Availability WindowOur Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.28 an hour; this increases to £15.41 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. The Role
As a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for delivering strategic and operational value in support of the Business and Cavendish Nuclear strategic goals and objectives.
Day-to-day, you'll be expected to create new value streams through strategic relationship management with internal and external Business partners, impacting the top and bottom line; you'll also, be ensuring the Operational delivery of functional support to all major projects within the Business through a highly professional procurement solution throughout the project life cycle:
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Warrington or Preston on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
