Job Requirements

Our business corporate client, a freight forwarding company is seeking enthusiastic and self motivated individuals to begin their career within this exciting fast paced international logistics industry.
You will be joining this well established worldwide freight forwarding client who are looking for a Documentation Administrator to take full responsibility for the preparation of punctual and precise documentation for all destination across national country borders. In this regard, the successful applicants must have an exceptional telephone manner as this role requires extensive liaison with Clients,Overseas agents, Shipping liners and other departments within the business.

Roles & Duties:

• Create Bills of Ladings-export declarations.
• Ensure the correct profiles are chosen or created for all parties.
• Confirm the Bill of Lading is in compliance with the master submitted by the Shipper/ forwarder.
• Ensure all related charges are protected  on thw bill of lading and proper cost accounts are in place,
• Actively seek required documentation from shippers.
• Prepare and maintain vessel files.
• Assist customers/agents with questions,complaints,requests or track and trace.
• Double check container and seal number and load manifests.
• Issue client/agents invoices.

Job Requirements :

• Previous experience within a documentation/shipping administration role or educated to degree level and looking to begin your career with the logistics industry.
• Possess good customer service skills.
• Driven and bright individual with the ambition to grow within a company.
• Proficient in English,BM and Mandarin.
• Experience within the shipping industry highly desirable.

Job Description 

l Complete job responsibilities in accordance with management systems such as ISO9001 and IATF16949 requirements.

l Implement and enforce various company regulations and management systems.

l Provide official vehicles for company leaders, departments, and visiting guests according to vehicle dispatch instructions.

l Follow traffic rules to ensure driving safety

l Maintain vehicle records and participate in safety training on time.

l Refuel vehicles adequately after each use to ensure normal operation the next day.

l Perform routine maintenance and repair of vehicles to ensure their normal operation.

l Conduct comprehensive cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of vehicles before each use, promptly reporting and resolving any issues found.

l Strictly record vehicle maintenance and repair work.

l Regularly inspect driving documents to ensure their validity and completeness.

l Participate in various educational and training activities organized by the company on time.

l Complete other tasks assigned by company superiors on time.

Job requirement 

l Possess a valid driving license for relevant vehicle types recognized by the government.

l Have more than 2 years of relevant work experience and be familiar with routes around the company.

l Have some experience or basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance or repair.

l Able to drive vehicles regularly to and from Singapore.

Working hours： 8am-5pm

Chrisjac is currently working with our long standing client within international logistics industry in seeking a passionate and experienced export freight professional to work at their main business operation centre at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

Job Description:
As the Freight Forwarding Officer, you will be working within a close and supporting team environment within the Export department. Overall, you will be providing your assigned clients base guiding them through a seamless shipping and logistics process and be the link between both internal departments and external service providers.
The role will include handling export shipments for all LCL clientele, from freight bookings, allocations to final delivery and cargo receival to clients overseas.
Duties will entail and involve the following role process:

• Receiving and processing bookings of shipments.
• Coordinating bookings with shipping liners.
• Liaising and coordinating with clients, shipping carriers and overseas agents.
• Preparing relevant export documentation.
• Preparing freight/shipping rates, raising and issuing invoices.

The candidate
The ideal candidates would have a proven track record of some 2-3 years of freight operations experience in handling exports sector, including recent experience with an export operations role within forwarding or with a co-loader. In this connection, candidate with strong understanding of international shipping and also domestic transport will be highly advantageous to fill this role.
The successful candidates for this role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and accurate comprehend information is imperative as you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders to collectively produce the desired outcome for the business clients.
