The Role:
The Business Development and Legal Manager is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with clients, leading sales efforts and overseeing legal aspects related to contracts, compliance and risk management. This role involves strategic planning, market research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
What you’ll be doing:
· Develop and execute strategic business development plans that promote company growth and enhance revenue generation at a corporate level.
· Develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion for specific products, services, or business units within the company.
· Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand market reach.
· Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
· Stay up to date on competitive landscape and industry regulations and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
· Provide regular reports on business development activities and results.
What you should have:
· Strategic thinking and planning, with ability to bring in legal perspective.
· Strong sales, communication, and negotiation abilities, coupled with legal acumen.
· Relationship building and networking.
· Experience in negotiating contracts and managing legal risks in a business context.
· Familiarity with contract law, risk management and compliance principles.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or related field.
· Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in business development or related field, with exposure to legal aspects.
