POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to provide technical leadership and support for Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the database systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application database issues.
• Perform health check on database servers.
• Proactively in capacity planning and performance tuning of the Databases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of Oracle EBS Database Administration experience.
• Proficient in installing, configuring, administering, tuning, disaster recovery and troubleshooting Oracle EBS on Linux environments is a MUST.
• Possess good understanding of Oracle current product line; RDBMS, Middleware, Application suite, secured iSupplier portal, OBIEE and SOA
• Addition Knowledge of other DBMS such as MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Firebase will be an added advantage.
• Strong command of the English and comfortable with process/functional documentation.

About the role

The role is part of our Global SOC team, tasked to deliver Managed Security Services (MSS) and help customers achieve its business goals & objectives by re-imagining cybersecurity as one of its business enabler. The role reports to SOC vertical based in Singapore. Its great opportunity to put your past experiences in building a world class SOC and address cybersecurity challenges of organizations in the region. It provides exposure to wide variety of security technologies, and provides opportunity for the candidate to pioneer in developing SOC and build new MSS offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in 24x7 shift environment to handle security incidents and provide level two (L2) support during analysis & investigations to identify the root cause (RCA).
• Provide detailed remediation recommendation to customers for the incidents within agreed SLAs, and if required assist them during remediation implementation.
• Execute SOC playbooks, Standard operating procedure (SOP), knowledge base to minimize the security incident impact and perform detailed investigation on the infected assets.
• Escalate critical incidents to 3rd level support team, for further analysis & investigations, and demonstrate excellent collaboration skills for timely resolution to minimize impact to customers.
• Review 3rd party threat intel feeds and integrate them into MSS platforms to provide value to our MSS customers.
• Prepare SOC monthly & QSPR reports, which includes customization based on business requirements and present them to customers during monthly meetings, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate and lead weekly incident review meetings with the customer to assess and discuss ongoing incidents, resolutions, and improvements
• Support the SOC Engineering team in ensuring the health and functionality of SOC tools to prevent incidents from being missed due to tool malfunctions.
• Enable regional L1 Security Analysts to deliver seamless L1 support by developing SOC playbooks, relevant and sufficient knowledge base.

• Candidate should have at least 4 years of experience working in SOC and MSS environments, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT/Information security.
• Proven experience on incident analysis using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Devo, Splunk, IBM QRadar.
• Proven experience on any Endpoint Protection (EPP) or Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) technologies. Preferred if Microsoft Defender, S1 and CrowdStrike.
• Exposure to firewall technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet.
• Good understanding of WIN, LINUX environments and well versed with basic LINUX commands and troubleshooting, with a proven Unix (Solaris, Linux, BSD) experience.
• Knowledge on any shell scripting language, and to apply them to automate mundane operations tasks.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-growing organization. Tune Protect is a regional insurance company with infrastructure on cloud as well as on premise. From a cybersecurity perspective, we monitor our infrastructure via a SOC and also with solutions ranging from network firewalls to SOC to EDR, DLP and PAM.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to manage the security infrastructure at Tune Protect. This includes working with the SOC and infrastructure team to analyse and remediate security tickets, EDR operations (for example scanning and ensuring endpoints are clean of vulnerabilities), Email Security on MS365, DLP (for example blacklisting/whitelisting websites etc) and PAM (for example work with infrastructure team to ensure all critical user ids are covered).
• Be hands on and able to utilise/configure our existing security software such as Trend Micro EDR, Forcepoint DLP, Tycothic PAM, Microsoft 365 email security. Familiarity or experience in using and/or configuring other endpoint protection software, data leak prevention software, priviledged access management software and/or firewalls a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding and experience in firewall configuration (Fortigate and Palo Alto) a strong advantage
• Strong understanding and experience in hardening OS such as linux and windows
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and its security a strong advantage.
• Assess and manage security risks and implement best practices to minimize them. Monitor and analyze cybersecurity incidents and threats
• Perform regular VAPT on our infrastructure and on all new applications internally or with an external vendor. Work with those vendors to ensure their reports are remediated as needed and verified. Experience as a VAPT tester an advantage
• Work with infrastructure and cloud engineers and leads to ensure security is handled correctly from design to operations at the network and server level. This includes knowledge of sound security practices from a technical perspective.
• Understand industry frameworks like Mitre Att&CK. Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the company stays ahead of evolving threats
• Ensure regular reporting on security statistics are compiled on time and presented to management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all on premise and cloud-based systems and applications are secure
• Work closely with IT audit to ensure all audit discovery and remediation is performed ahead of deadlines

• IT Security experience with 2-4 years or more hands-on experience in any branch of security. Experience being in a lead role an advantage
• Professional certification such as CISM, CISA, CSXP, CISSP, CREST, GPEN or equivalent an advantage
• Knowledge/experience in Information Security, IT Risk and IT Governance including BNM RMIT. Strong understanding of IT security principles and practice.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 an advantage
• Operational experience working with or in a SOC an advantage
• Able to work under broad direction and a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently. Responsible and accountable for work performed and decisions taken.
