Senior Digital Learning Designer and become a key player in shaping the learning experience at the British Red Cross. In 2024, our focus is on enriching the development of our staff and volunteers, with special emphasis on inspiring our leaders and managers. Your role will be a mission to design impactful learning solutions that resonate with a diverse audience.
A day in the life of a Senior Digital Learning Designer will involve: - Work in partnership with the Learning and Organisation Development team and subject matter experts (SMEs) to craft inventive, fresh, and compelling learning solutions tailored for a wide range of learners including managers and leaders.
- Use a range of tools and software to craft engaging content, including rapid e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, animation software, Adobe Cloud apps, and recording equipment, ensuring a rich, interactive, and immersive learning experience.
- Maintain and design our Learning Management System (LMS) interfaces using a comprehensive content management system, prioritising intuitive design, effortless navigation, and maximised learner engagement and accessibility.
- Align LMS interface design seamlessly with content and system functionality, capitalising on the flexibility and robust features of the content management system.
To be a successful Senior Digital Learning Designer, You'll need: - A proven track record in designing, organising, and delivering blended and bite-sized digital learning solutions.
- Expertise in learning platform design and administration (e.g., Cornerstone on Demand).
- The ability to juggle multiple project designs at once, overseeing the entire process from scoping to evaluation.
- Experience in creating resources with the rollout of new initiatives
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Robust graphic design skills, a flair for creativity, and proficiency in a range of software for digital learning authorship (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud), including video editing.
- Extensive knowledge of content management systems
- A methodical approach to the evaluation and monitoring of digital learning, ensuring content is dynamic and meets diverse learner needs, including accessibility
