The Maintenance discipline covers the development of Maintenance strategies and the planning, coordination and execution of Maintenance activities. Maintenance ensures safe, defect free and efficient operations through the regular upkeep of equipment and tools in the most cost efficient and timely manner.

As a Turnaround (Rotating) Planner, you will provide planning for rotating equipment (RE) related maintenance activities i.e., developing efficient work plans (work packages, tasks, sequences, materials, craft/ manpower and resources) for Turnaround Events.

What’s the role?

Your principal accountabilities as a Turnaround Planner will include:

• Compliance to HSSE standards and requirements to make Shell Jurong Island (SJI) a safe place to work, and accountable for all assigned Critical activities.
• Responsible for TA related RE scopes which include but not limited to TA Planning, Preparation works, Execution during TA, Post TA works etc. with highest safety and quality standards.

• Liaise with OEM specialist on site support arrangement & spare parts purchase for TA.

• Work closely with Rotating Equipment Engineer (REE) during TA execution phase and ensure all the Hold Points are verified & witnessed as per Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for Flawless Execution.
• Manage discovery work scopes during TA and ensure all discovery work scopes are completed on time with highest safety and quality standards.
• Work closely with Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Inspection Engineer on Equipment inspection, calibration & testing requirements and ensure values are verified and witnessed by REE/Respective Engineers/OEM etc.
• Support Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) during plant start up and work closely with REE and respective Engineers to troubleshoot any plant start up issues.
• Upon completion of TA, prepare Post TA activities like closure of all POs, Capital Spares refurbishment requirements, RE Budget closure, return of all spare parts and special tools to Warehouse with proper documentation etc.
• Role execution across Singapore sites (i.e. SJI and Bukom) where required.

What we need from you

To be a successful Turnaround (Rotating) Planner, you will have the following:

• Diploma/Degree or equivalent preferably in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3-5 relevant field experience as Turnaround Rotating Equipment Planner or equivalent, preferably with Mechanical Engineering background

The Electrical Instrumentation and Analyzer Planner provides proactive/reactive EIQ planning for Singapore Jurong Island maintenance activities, which includes developing efficient work plans (tasks, sequences, parts/materials, craft/manpower and resources) for maintenance plans and provide estimates to the maintenance budget holders.

• Create and maintain library of plans for HSSE, preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Ensure that library plans contain reasonably accurate information on cost, materials, services labour and other resource requirements.
• Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, source, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that preventive maintenance/corrective maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders. Trigger the deferral process and ensure all deferrals are managed and executed timely. Custodian of PM deferral document records. Trigger periodic PM plan reviews with Production & SME and recommend necessary actions to continuously improve SJI PM execution performance.
• Assist in budget planning i.e. producing 3 year look ahead of PM activities & cost estimation. Plan, track and cost accuracy and provide inputs to improve contract strategy.
• Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements eg: MLCT. Provide feedback on effectiveness of preventive maintenance generated from AMS processes (RCM, IPF, EI, etc).

Being part of a team of Trading & Supply Credit Analysts, who undertake all regular (often daily) Credit Activities primarily in support of all T&S entities, including: Insurance Management activities from the SEE Sales Offices (i.e. Italy and Spain), specifically in receiving and processing of Credit Limit requests from the Sales Team, communication of the outcome and a possible negotiation, and other Controls monitoring and reporting actions. Credit Re-Assessments and ad hoc credit assessment requests, specifically performing robust quantitative and qualitative analysis of the counterparties Shell trades with to confirm and recommend Credit Ratings, Credit Limits and terms. Regular Credit Operations, specifically system updates and Credit Advice. Operations are an important part of the Trading & Supply Credit function requiring specialist, fast and dependable service to avoid downside risk, support the deal lifecycle and ensure it operates within the Credit control framework. This team will become the future fourth office, which will be part of the Global Credit Underwriting & Operations Team (Houston, London, Singapore and Manila) and one of four global teams in the Global Trading & Supply organisation that is focused on instilling operational excellence. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks and covers the majority of business lines with which Shell is involved in e.g. Crude & Products, Gas & Power, Marine etc. It therefore offers real variety and an opportunity to impact commercial outcomes. Accountabilities Act as the day-to-day interface with the Global Trading Credit team, commercial and financial stakeholders to support and advise on the Credit Risk posed by counterparties delivered through the Credit Assessment process and performing Operational tasks relevant to the Trading & Supply Credit function. Tasks will include but not be limited to: Perform insurance management activities for the Italian and Spain Sales Office Portfolio which includes: Receiving and processing of daily Credit Limit requests (both new and existing - for increase) in Atradius and COFACE platformsCommunicating the outcome/ result of application requests to the Sales Team; and endorsing for required approvals based on the latest Credit Strategy MatrixLiaising and/or requesting for additional investigation with the Insurance Provider (e.g. reasons for rejection; and other potential considerations to grant the requested coverage)Managing the database for the daily requests ensuring all applications are encoded and current status of approvals are reflectedProviding of support in managing the collateral database, ensuring that collateral details are reflected in the systemsReconciling of insurance cover information between platform-generated reports and our systemsConverting of insurance covers in Atradius from indication to credit limit based on the weekly active contracts list; update and/or set up account in the systems as required.Submitting of Binding contracts, including request and verification of data, collection of needed information, and preparation of contract for credit lines that are due for withdrawal or reduction by AtradiusAttending of weekly Credit Committees to raise and to escalate issues and concerns related to insurance activitiesManaging the professional relationship with the stakeholders; acting as a liaison between Commercial/ UW teams and Sales Office as the case may beOther Ad Hoc Activities: Preparation of standard reports and KPIs (Daily, weekly, monthly), Portfolio Reviews, Monthly tracing of invoice to transactions, Preparation of quarterly Turnover Declaration, Submission of claims, and Answer insurance-related questions that may be inquired by stakeholders Perform ongoing (often daily) Credit Operational activities which include but not limited to: Effective operation of regular data integrity control, which aligns all system data with the relevant credit data, approved within each credit assessment.Contracting matters – ad hoc queries on contracts including liaison with Relevant Credit Managers.Support the Commercial Business - Provide interpretation of credit policy and guide the businesses on the principles of sound credit management. Keep up-to-date on issues within the businesses by having close relationships with the sales managers and reading information from industry sources.
