IT Technician - Gloucester - £24,000 - £29,000

I am seeking an IT Technician to work within an educational environment. The role will be working Monday - Friday on-site. You will be handling hardware, software, network, and telephony support, whilst working alongside other technicians. The successful IT Technician will provide support either face-to-face, email or phone to a network of internal customers, and will ensure that all problems are either solved or escalated to the correct members of the IT team. You will provide support to bespoke software and hardware devices as well as having strong experience in the Microsoft office family of products.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The school requires an IT/AV Technician to support the running of our IT Services within the school and assist our IT Network Manager.

This is a hands-on role and our ideal candidate will have experience in IT support and have a positive approach to solving problems and improving user experience. Relevant experience in Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, printers, touch screen technology, projectors and networking hardware is desirable.
