The Role
Due to our healthy pipeline of projects, we are looking to hire an experienced primary substation Electrical Engineer & Designer/Drafter to complement our highly skilled design and engineering team at our Burswood office, close to the Perth CBD.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Interpret and implement design information provided by Primary Design Engineers, Civil/Structural Design Engineers and Design Managers
• Produce substation primary 2D/3D CAD drawings (i.e. general arrangements, electrical elevations, electrical assemblies, earthing assemblies, cable terminations arrangement, BOMs etc) in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD format as needed, for concept, tender or detailed design
• Ensure the overall quality and consistency of all drawings produced for compliance with standards and project requirements
• Conduct drafting compliance checks on all design drawings to comply with client standards and document management systems

Your Qualifications and Skills
• Tertiary Studies with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience (Electrical Designer/Drafter)
• Demonstrated experience in utilities, construction and / or resources industry.
• Skills to work independently.
• Effective and accurate record keeping / documentation relating to their own design work.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of technical design standards and demonstrate experience in design and delivery of large-scale substation projects.
• CAD Software proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation etc.

• Design world class human centered experiences across the various digital channels and mediums

• Prototype to create brand narrative as well as powerful visual storytelling to influence future direction of our experiences.

• Ideate and conceptualise divergent ideas to explore solution options and converge on a subset of concepts that best solve for the identified problem space.

• Development of innovative interface designs, typography, and screen layouts for web sites, and touch applications.

• Actively contribute and evolve the CommSec Design Language and design system.

• Create design documentation to be consumed by delivery teams in a scaled agile working environment.

• Work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority to deliver the best user experiences to our target customers.

What we are looking for

• Highly developed user interface and interaction design skills with applied knowledge of visual design, accessibility, responsive and scalable design

• Demonstrated usage of tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma and Adobe Suite

• Experience in designing for native platforms in iOS, Android, and Web with working knowledge of Swift, Jetpack, React or similar

• Demonstrated experience creating functional prototypes

• A curious mindset with an aptitude and passion for learning new skills in analytics, content, research, and coding

• An ability to confidently communicate with technical and engineering teams across multiple communication mediums to realise final execution

• Demonstrated experience working with design systems including governance, maintenance, and documentation

About the role

The role of a Housing Officer is to deliver a high-quality housing management service/support across Certitude. Duties will include:

- Support in the implementation of new acquisitions/mobilisation documentation and ensure the setting up of properties and Service Users on the housing database (PyramidOmniledger).
- Work with the Housing Services Manager to put in place service contracts for new services in their allocated patch and monitor ongoing performance.
- To manage tenancy on-boarding/Sign Up arrangements, and termination processes.
- To be in regular liaise with the onsite operation team updated them on Tenancy Packs or information from the RP/landlord.
- To be responsible for the appropriate rent being communicated and charged to new service users and at every new rent year.

About you

To be a Housing Officer at Certitude, the following are essential:

- Housing rental income and arrears control processes, rent collection databases/systems, dealing with HB/DWP/UC office on rent issues.
- Managing tenancy breaches, ASB and all areas of court procedures.
- Suitable housing related qualification relevant to this role or demonstrable experience.
- Updating and monitoring ongoing performance/standards of contracts and management agreements.
