Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial management services to the Technology Business Unit.
We work closely with Technology customers to help them understand their technology costs and delivery of current and future strategic and financial plans, and drive transformation activities.
The Centre of Excellence team is a new capability in Technology Finance. It is being established to improve the team’s value proposition via uplifting the standard and business outcome for core finance processes through driving digitization and automation.
Your reporting lines
You will be reporting to the Finance Manager, Centre of Excellence of CBA India (based locally in Bangalore). You will be a key member of one of the implementation squad in the Centre of Excellence team and will work closely with members in other squads and leaders across the Technology Finance team.
Your responsibilities
Facilitate and support the processing of general accounting activities for Technology Finance, including the delivery of:

Role Definition
The IBM Mainframe Director of Operations is responsible for all FNTS IBM Mainframe Cloud customer success and ensuring that the FNTS IBM Mainframe Cloud Operations team provides excellent customer experience. This includes providing all day two operations, keeping IBM and ISV programs current, and optimizing the performance of all customer environments. This person will develop and implement standards and best practices for delivering observability, anomaly detection, alerting, automation, and optimization of customer infrastructure and mainframe operations. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the daily operations of the IBM Mainframe Cloud product lines including MFaaS and IaaS for zOS, VSE, and zVM as well as DB2, CICS, and other solutions as necessary. This individual is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Mainframe Operations team to ensure expertise in delivering IBM Mainframe products and services. This role is also responsible for managing and monitoring the day-to-day activities associated with delivering the products and services to the customer, including but not limited to, customer relations, support, technology, incident management, architecture standards, and successfully managing technical projects.
