The Head Chef is a vital part of the leadership team and is in charge of overseeing the overall direction and strategy of the restaurant's culinary offerings. In addition to taking a hands-on approach to effective resource coordination in the kitchen, he or she possesses the ability to inspire, motivate, and harness the team's culinary expertise and skills. The ability to think outside the box, the willingness to explore the unexplored territory, and the ability to set a good example for others.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Head Chef is expected to:
• Develop and uphold a cutting-edge culinary strategy that reflects a potential role to play in putting the plans into action quickly, profitably, and effectively.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate new menu options that are consistent with The Foreign Project brand concept to keep the menu exciting for all patrons and to encourage high levels of guest satisfaction and favorable reviews of the customers' culinary offerings.
• Keep up with new culinary innovations and is responsible for making decisions regarding the menu, including but not limited to, menu items, pricing, flavors, and cuisine characteristics, and presentation.
• Find ways to streamline and improve the current menu items and products. Develop a plan for the time and work required to implement new menu items, and give the regular leadership feedback to increase revenue and profit.
• Collaboration is required to ensure the smooth coordination and successful implementation of all cross-functional goals and deadlines.
• In charge of overseeing all kitchen operations and making sure that standards for food safety, hygiene, and food preparation are always upheld.
• Develop a comprehensive cost management strategy for market list products and daily inventories. To maximize profits while maintaining The Foreign Project's brand standards and/or customer expectations, ensure proper and efficient expense management and cost controls.
• Capable of engaging in confident interactions with the media and visitors to promote the brand, its ideas, and the food served at each individual restaurant.
• The development of the culinary team and The Foreign Project Group will be fueled by strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching.

Outside Food Sales Representative

As an Outside Food Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for the overall sales and relationship management efforts for existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory. This includes pursuing new customers, deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships, and sales territory management.
Pursuing New Customers
Researching industry and market trends impacting restaurants within your territory
Identifying and researching prospective customers within your territory
Developing sales strategies that highlight products, services, values, and solutions offered by Gordon Food Service and presenting the sales strategy to prospective customers
Deepen and Strengthen Existing Customer Relationships
Visiting all customers within the assigned territory on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis
Conducting business reviews to determine existing customers needs and areas of opportunity for growing sales
Providing ongoing training to customers on Gordon Food Service product offerings
Identifying opportunities within existing customers businesses where Gordon Food Service can add value through product and service offerings
Sales Territory Management
Balancing new customers acquisition and deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships
Coordinating visits to prospective customers and existing customers
Communicating order status and order processing updates to customers
Sales Training - Getting you Ready
Gordon Food Service’s goal during your first 90 days is to set you up for success! This includes engaging you in various training offerings, including e-learning, classroom sessions, video roleplays, job shadowing, and peer sales representative mentorship. Throughout your first 90 days, you will learn:

Position Requirements
High School Diploma/GED is required
Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred
1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
Ability to obtain your food safety certification

Job Description
Role Purpose
As part of the Asia Gas and LNG Markets team, you will deliver world-class research, data, and insight covering Southeast Asian gas & LNG market fundamentals, prices, contracts, investment trends, policies and corporate insights. Your coverage will range from current market and regulatory events through to the role of gas and gas assets in the energy transition.
As this role leads our Southeast Asia gas coverage, you will have high levels of engagement with clients and the broader industry.
