The Quality Control manager is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of operational service quality. Reporting directly to Singapore DGM, you will work cross-functionally with our various Business Units (BUs) including Freight, Cross-Border and Supply Chain Management to drive overall operational excellence.

Skills required:

• A background in banking, capital markets and insurance Financial Crime and Compliance Management domain areas, in both traditional Financial Services institutions and Fintech organisations. Additionally, FinCrime software vendor experience is a plus

• Specific knowledge in Oracle’s FCCM solution, including recent enhancements in the areas of Customer Screening, Transaction Filtering, Graph Analytics and the use of Big Data architectures is a plus

1. Perform daily periodic checks of Central Kitchen to ensure compliance to in-house GMP/GHP standards, SOP, Product Specifications, etc.

2. Conduct random checks on incoming raw materials, and perform product cutting on raw materials to ensure goods received are within in-house specifications.

3. Ensure Process Verification and Validation exercise are completed (i.e. SOP/CCP verification, new product launch process observation, monthly facility checks, monthly traceability exercise, finished goods shelf-life verification, etc.)

4. Conduct investigations on product/process non-conformance (on-line and customer complaints) and follow-up on proposed corrective/preventive measures to ensure effectiveness.

5. Promptly follow-up with contractors (chemical/pest control) during routine servicing to ensure work orders are conducted as per contract.

6. Participate and engage in quality system implementation (audit activities by regulatory/certification bodies and customers).

7. Conduct data/trend analysis on non-conformity of raw material/finished goods, pest reporting statistics, monthly production and facility check statistics, etc. for process and quality improvement.

8. Ensure analysis of food products via microbiological and physical testing, calibration of lab equipment and measurement tools, internal sensory evaluation are conducted as per schedule.

9. Report all non-conformances, discrepancies and/or deviations, and follow-up on the investigation of the non-conformity results.

10. Other projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

· Supports the Singapore Financial Controller and will be the main finance business partner to the assigned operational Business Units.

· Lead Business Line budgeting and forecasting processes for the Business Units assigned to the Business Controller.

· Lead the month-end financial closing process for internal management reporting.

· Ensure accuracy & timely submission of order books (work performed in the month) maintained by Business Units to determine accounting accruals (revenue/costing) for the proper accounting cut-off during the month-end closing.

Job Requirements

· Diploma/Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or have an Accomplished Finance/Accounting Professional qualification (eg. ACCA)

· Having accounting knowledge is a requirement; however, further on-the job training will be provided.

· 0-5 years of relevant work experience in finance/accounting, controlling, taxation or audit. More experienced candidates will be considered as well.

4. Must be able to read, and interpret all drawing symbols and welding symbols

5. Able to perform FA, Incoming, In-process and Outgoing inspection to meet delivery schedule

6. Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated.

7. Ensure Maintenance record and Production in-process record is updated on-time

8. Ensure the implementation of corrective actions/preventive action as a result of weekly Source inspection by customers.

9. Document Control - To ensure all drawings are latest and filed in a proper manner

10. Assists/performs other non-routine duties as assigned by QA Manager.

Requirements:

1. Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent AND a valid Welding Inspector Certificate (CSWIP)

2. Relevant experience in QA (especially ISO related – 9001, 14001, BizSafe- involved in supporting Internal and External Audit) is a plus

3. Experience in Machining, Metal stamping, fabrication and related secondary processes ( such as welding, plating, and powder coating) industry preferred.

4. Able to speak English and Mandarin.

5. Able to work 5.5 days and OT when needed
