Wat ga je doen?
De Job Leader Electrical & Instrumentation is verantwoordelijk voor de kosteneffectieve levering van scope en uitvoering voor de OPEX Turn Arounds en fabriekswijzigingen. De rol is de sleutel tot het ontwikkelen van een cultuur die de efficiëntie van de uitvoering stimuleert. De Job Leader E&I zal doorgaans ook optreden als Job Lead voor de grotere taken op het gebied van elektriciteit en instrumentatie
Deze functie heeft de unieke kans om de effectiviteit van de onderhoudsefficiëntie te sturen en te beïnvloeden bij zowel de bedrijfsvoering als het onderhoud. En heeft raakvlakken met OPEX Coördinator, Technisch Assistenten, Job Leaders, Technici, Werkvoorbereiding, Planning, Aannemers.
Je werkt in teams in een complexe 24/7 dynamische omgeving met veeleisende stakeholders. En je hebt geen directe ondergeschikten maar moet een functionele leider zijn.
Je werkzaamheden bestaan o.a. uit:
- Uitvoeringscoördinator voor de elektrische en instrumentatiescope bij unit stops en projecten die door het onderhoudsteam worden uitgevoerd.
- Uitvoeringscoördinator voor het uitvoeren van plantchanges en preventieve onderhoudswerkzaamheden (jaarlijks onderhoud of vervanging van equipment).
- Veilige, kosteneffectieve levering van scopes en efficiënte uitvoering.
- Het bieden van specifieke (indien gevraagd) ondersteuning aan Turn Arounds en projecten.
- Assisteren bij elektrisch schakelwerk, zowel laagspanning als hoogspanning.
- Beoordelen en autoriseren van meer/minderwerk.
- Onderhouden van contacten tijdens de voorbereiding en uitvoering van unit stops, projecten en plantchanges met vele key personen, zowel intern als extern.

- Een afgeronde MBO niveau 4 opleiding in de richting van Electrotechniek en/of Instrumentatie.
- Minimaal 5-10 jaar ervaring in E&I Maintenance of Turn Around uitvoering functies (in de petrochemische industrie).
- In het bezit van een Stipel certificering (bijv. IV/WV LS-HLS).
- Kennis van de relevante normen (bijv. NEN3140/NEN1010).

The key responsibilities are:
• Supporting to ensure that Prelude is ready to operate Crux at the earliest practical time.
• Enabling and facilitating delivery of the Operations Readiness Team during Detailed Design activities, with a focus on integration with Prelude.
• Ownership of the long-term objective of the Crux project, with a proactive and can-do aptitude, including early input beginning in Detailed Design
• Ensuring end-to-end integration and alignment with Prelude processes, equipment, and procedures to facilitate the successful end-to-end processing of Crux products.
The Lead Production Technician’s accountabilities adapt and evolve through the project phases:
During the Detailed Design Phase:
1. Contribute to updates to Prelude Competency Development and Assurance AMS documentation and procedures due to Crux changes.
2. Bring a high level of ESP skill, knowledge and consistency as a dedicated resource, and hence facilitating and enabling the Project Operations Readiness (ORA) Teams delivery, as the future asset owner.
3. Be the asset owner team representative, responsible for supporting the Project ORA team to operationalise requirements that will achieve NNM outcomes.
4. Provide dedicated and consistent Prelude Support to the ORA Team by via review and input to Operations/ Maintenance related Detailed Design activities and ensuring that Project development and execution decisions are appropriately considered for impact to the existing asset.
5. Ensuring Prelude’s readiness to receive Crux at the earliest practical point in time, and supporting the development of elements of the Crux Readiness / P2A Process.
6. Delivery of Crux Performance Projects as required, which may include Crux integration into the Prelude Integrated Operating Centre, Crux Onshore CWE design, the Crux Walk-To-Work Project.
During the Commissioning and Start Up Phase
7. Ensuring Operations and maintenance team organisational competency and capability.
8. Contribute to walk downs, function testing, Right First Time program, ensuring delivery of project outcomes.
During the Operate Phase
9. Supporting the PIC to ensure operation within the boundaries of the Safety case and Environmental Plan, respective legislation, and business plan when the platform is manned.
10. Ensuring that the Ensure Safe Production, Permit to Work, Safe Isolation and Maintenance Execution processes are followed so that day to day tasks and activities of the production shift are executed with consistency and with focus on process safety, integrity and operational excellence.
11. Supporting the PIC to safely deliver the production plan and Integrated Activity Plan.
12. Enabling the early identification, diagnosis and rectification of process issues as they arise.
13. Coordinating all work activities via the Permit to Work process, including permit verification and overseeing equipment preparation for maintenance.
14. Working closely with onshore organisation to drive safe, reliable, and efficient Crux performance, and ensure threats to the safe, reliable, and predictable production plan are identified, managed, and meet the requirements of AMS processes.
Job Requirements:
• Prelude experience is preferred.
• Experience in a Major Hazard Facility environment to ensure safe and consistent operation of production
processes.
• A diploma/certificate in Production Operations with experience as a Production Technician in operating assets, preferably in the capacity as a Production Supervisor is essential.
• Assured competent to perform Fire Team Leader duties.
Skills and Competencies:
• Skill in ESP Operations, Safe Isolations and Permit to Work Processes, as well as PME Maintenance process.

About The Role
The Crux Lead INLEC/Production Technician is a dual trade role which is a critical position within the operations team being established which focused on delivery from Execute phase, culminating in a successful Start-up and CRUX Project to Asset handover through to operations. This position is a key role that moves through the Project phase into the future organization operations structure to maintain Crux. A major part of the role will also be to train and mentor future staff to facilitate interventions on Crux from Prelude.
POSITION DESCRIPTION - ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Lead INLEC/PRODUCTION Technician roles and responsibilities will differ between the different phases of the Project Cycle leading up to operations.
IN THE EXECUTE PHASE:
- Work with the Training department to set up competence and training requirements.
- Contribute to and review any Project Engineering activities that requires your support.
- Contribute to the Operations and Maintenance workshops.
- Review and contribute to maintenance work pack development
- Review and contribute to the Compterised Maintenance Management System build.
- Support and build a compile Corrective Maintenance work packs for critical equipment.
FOR ONSHORE COMMISSIONING/FABRICTION YARD
- Gain knowledge on the asset by walkdowns on the asset.
- Review of Work packs to ensure that they are fit for purpose.
- Work with the CSU team for commissioning of equipment thereby gaining knowledge.
- Attend vendor specific training for different equipment
- Support and contribute to handover walkdowns for commissioned systems
- Support CSU team with Preservation and structured walkdowns to ensure equipment and piping are maintains cleanliness.
- Review of permits and isolations to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Work with Training department to build training packages for new starters from respective knowledge gain through vendor and equipment training.
OPERATIONS:
- Provide assurance and oversight of execution of maintenance scope through the maintenance contractors. Responsibilities include the undertaking of offshore operations surveillance tasks and minor maintenance including sampling and testing. Other activities include safe isolation and purging of plant and equipment ensuring a Safe Work environment to execute the work scopesinclsuive of the relevant steps to bring back the plant or equipment into service.
Experience Requirements:
- Dual Trade Instrument / Electrical Certificate with A Grade Western Australian Electrical License
- Sound technical understanding and experience in various Instrumentation and Electrical systems, with a preference to have a minimum of ten years working in an INLEC role.

About The Role
The Crux Lead Mechanical/Production Technician is a dual trade role for:
- A Mechanical Technician who has Production Technician qualifications or who would like to pursue development as a dual trade Production Technician. OR
- A Production Technician with a MECHANICAL Trade qualification
This is a critical position within the operations team which will be focused on delivery during the project Execute phase, culminating in a successful Start-up and CRUX Project to Asset handover through to the Not Normally Manned (NNM) operations. FABRICATION/ ONSHORE COMMISSIONING PHASE
- Gain essential physical asset knowledge and familiarisation.
- Validate SAP PM Task Lists.
- As part of the Integrated CSU team contribute to owner’s team verification of contractor scope delivery.
- Attend vendor specific training for packages & equipment.
- Support and contribute to system & equipment joint walkdowns ensuring identification and inclusion of punch information.
- Support RFT (Right First Time) activities including Tightness (leak testing/ flange management)/ Cleanliness (Preservation).

We are seeking a Maintenance Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician to be part of the team in Michigan City. This team member will be responsible for:

What is the role
This role is intended to help Mechanical Maintenance engineers in work planning and implementing the standard work packs for preventive/corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment, Wells corrective Maintenance Planning, Wells Operations Program Planning
What we need from you
Primary responsibility in preparing/developing work plan with comprehensive work packs from overhaul reports, maintenance reports, general task list, equipment specific task lists, spare part list, equipment drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, operation and maintenance manuals of OEMs, Asset best practices , technical implementation letter (TIL) etc. for heavy equipment
Building work packs that include detailed description of the tasks that need to be performed for overhauling / maintenance of each machine, parts required, resources, tools required, time required and relationship between tasks.
Prepare Initial response, carry out assessment, ensure correct prioritization of work, troubleshoot & propose technical solutions virtually, co-ordinate discussion with stakeholders, conduct Risk Assessment, ensure good QA/QC, record keeping, & final job closure to enable high equipment reliability & plant technical availability.
Planning PM & CM work orders in Maximo/SAP and building library work packs that include detailed description of the tasks that need to be performed for time & condition-based maintenance, breakdown maintenance, ordering parts required, service or tools required, estimating time required, Estimating cost of work order, network mapping and quality check points for minimum assurance tasks.
Identifying the system condition for each operation activity tasks should be ascertained about the shutdown windows availability or suitable opportunities for maintenance activities.
Planning of end-to-end work orders to enable efficient scheduling and ensure compliance of executable work orders.
First level diagnosis of damage history, determining the failure mode on the basis of anomaly reports and information given in corrective maintenance work request/ notification.
Investigating and analysis of CM work request to identify the true cause of the problem and prepare work orders with the detailed tasks to repair the damage with as much as detailed information required to complete the job effectively including procedures, sketches, specifications or drawings deemed necessary.
Improving productivity by ensuring the resource, special tool, material and service requirements availability before the job begins.
Customize the equipment make and model specific work packs into site specific workpack by adding site conditions and parameters.
Accommodate the PM library changes by converting the turnaround documents to the global workpacks.
Constantly engage with site maintenance leads, original equipment manufacturers, vendors and modify the workpacks as recommended/required by the site maintenance personnel.
Anticipate & plan for mandatory spares, tools and tackles and manpower required for the heavy-duty equipment based on the information extracted from maintenance manuals, collate any additional information about equipment & its spares, if required from the vendors and accommodate the information in the workpack.
Interact and communicate with the site focal for Preventive Maintenance Libraries and maintenance strategies, understanding the intricacies about how the actual maintenance activities for heavy duty equipment and other machinery have been planned and performed in various Operating Units of Shell.
Understanding the functions of the various equipment and instruments and also thorough knowledge of reading/ interpreting the engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, PFDs).
Identifying & resolving the bottlenecks for data analysis, maintaining issue logs and use the same in implementing changes/improvements in the processes.
Key Experiences and Qualifications:
Preferably with University Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 5 years of overall working experience in Field operations and maintenance in Oil & Gas / Refinery/Petrochemicals Industry/equivalent industry.
Extensive experience in maintenance planning for any of the following:
Heavy rotating equipment
Static equipment
Major Turnarounds/ Shutdowns
E&I work planning

What types of work is this position responsible for?
Operate tools and machinery to affect assigned work; this may include welding, rotating equipment, solids & liquids transfer systems, chemical hazards, and other work in an industrial facility
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance such as: Pump rebuilds, piping rebuilds, filter changes, and other repairs to plant equipment (this will include using a laser alignment tool, sheave alignment tools, and belt tension tools)

About The Role
This is a 1-year contract role.
This position is responsible for second level instrument engineering operations support. You will develop a close integrated working relationship with all relevant stakeholders.
• The Instrument Engineer will be accountable to specify, install, commission, maintain, modify, troubleshoot field instrumentation for effective process control, safeguarding and reliability. The candidate will work extensively with reliability, Integrity assurance, safety critical and production critical tasks, MOC and documentation processes to ensure business targets are met. For this key role it is also important to note that the incumbent would be required to frequently participate and generate risk assessment, prepare technical datasheets, reports and technical specifications. The role also works closely with the production support team and maintenance execution team.
• Work pro-actively on field instrumentation diagnostics, maintenance records and identification of any potential defects and / or improvements in functionality of field instrumentation.
• Activities are centered around preparing work instructions for troubleshooting of field instrumentation, troubleshooting defects on any field instrumentation, maintain and modify (with assistance) existing field instrumentation, install and commission simple field instrumentation (e.g. pressure transmitters; temperature transmitters; proximity switch; solenoid valve) and evaluate existing field instrument selection and installation against engineering standards and practices.
• Validation/calibration results and evaluation of results against performance standards to determine if (any) corrective action is required.
Job Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline.
• Ability to register as a Professional Engineer and maintain this registration whilst in the role.
• Demonstrated experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

The Instrument Technician will be based in Shell Jurong Island (SJI) Maintenance Department. The primary role is to execute Instrument maintenance to the optimum level of performance for safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant. 8) Provide support for Turnaround execution in related Process Units (PUs).
9) Plan and execute instrumentation related works depending on the technician level (L6 – L9) as specified below in the job knowledge skill and experience column.
10) Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in compliance with the global maintenance and business processes.
11) Attend standby callout to the Emergency work upon request.

Qualifications required are:
· Diploma/ITE or equivalent in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
· 1-5 years relevant experience in Instrument and Controls construction/ installation in oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical industry.
· Experience working in plant environment would be advantageous
· Holder of SWSHPP /OPSOC (Supervisor) certification for petrochemical industry
· Qualified MOM Manhole (Supervisor) and confined space entrant
