Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Suzhou FCO
Department: FCO Suzhou Order Fulfillment & Project Management
Position Description:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to being a point of contact for customer contracts. Include planning, communicating, coordinating and controlling the orders from the order receiving to delivery. In the meanwhile to show high customer service level as the customer service contact window for Flowserve Suzhou, support project manager to meet yearly and monthly sales target with good OTD rate.
Responsibilities:
- To lead and manage the project orders from order receiving to the final acceptance of valves by customer.
- To coordinate all internal and external project issues in both technical and commercial aspects.
- To organize the important project order Kick-off meeting and be responsible for customer’s visit, audit and FAT.
- To work closely with CO, engineering and operation team to make sure the project orders implement properly.
- To monitor and make sure the as-built documents submitted to customer on time and good quality.
- To manage the project with certifications, quality plan, test report, material certification etc. Keep the proper documentation for Order Files.
- To regularly review project status to ensure on-time delivery, cost control and good quality.
- To follow up and negotiate with customer for order change or spec. modification from operation.
Requirements & Qualification
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industry Automation.
-Fluently in English expression, both oral and written.
-Good communication skills cover different levels from customers to internal departments.
-Five years related working experiences, experiences in valves industry and project management are preferred.
-Have very good skills in Word, Excel, PPT etc., Oracle or SAP process experiences is preferred.
- Proficient in assessing, analyzing and evaluating issues and making timely decisions at multiple levels within the operation.
- Strong working ability to apply fundamentals and make appropriate decisions. Accurately forecasts project cash flow, revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Works with project manager to set, develop and manage client's expectations. Provide direction to others to achieve objectives.
