We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing Communications to lead our team in developing and executing marketing communication strategies for our aerospace products and services. The Director of Marketing Communications will play a critical role in crafting compelling narratives, messaging, and content to effectively promote our Company, engage our target audience, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies to promote our aerospace products and services, aligning with business objectives and target audience preferences.
- Craft compelling narratives, messaging, and content for various marketing channels and platforms, including digital, print, social media, events, and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and operations to gather insights, identify key value propositions, and create differentiated marketing campaigns.
- Lead the creation and production of marketing collateral, including brochures, case studies, white papers, videos, and presentations, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Manage the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing communication initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimizing strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to refine marketing communication strategies and tactics.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of technical editors, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement editorial style guides and procedures for technical publications.
- Edit and proofread complex technical documents, including manuals, reports, proposals, data sheets, and marketing materials, for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and technical correctness.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company style guides.
- Work closely with relevant department in-charge to understand technical concepts and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Technical Writing, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical writing, marketing communications, or related roles, with a focus on aerospace or technical industries.
- Deep understanding of aerospace terminology, concepts, and industry standards, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and accessible content.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing communication strategies and campaigns, driving brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages for different audiences and channels.
- Experience with a wide range of marketing communication tactics and tools, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and event marketing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and measure the effectiveness of marketing communication initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and aerospace industry trends.
- Able to write and communicate fluently in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) as this position needs to collaborate closely with the stakeholders in Singapore and China.
