Responsibilities
1. Assume the responsibility for the sale of Japan-made products, and is the liaison officer between the manufacturing plant in Japan and customers located in Southeast Asia.
2. Plan, develop and implement appropriate strategy to promote products in different markets, especially automotive semiconductors markets. Assume revenue and market share responsibility of assigned products for world-wide markets.
3. Align global growth strategies, market specific short and long-term strategic plans and functional objectives; comprehend the directions from HQ, fan out necessary information, and lead the team to execute actions to grow automotive semiconductors business in WW sales and R&D sites.
4. Direct marketing planning, analysis, research, as well as promotion and market development activities for the achievement of short-term and long-term business objectives.
5. Monitor sales (units and revenue) weekly, promptly discussing your analysis findings and agreeing on actions to maintain growth, turnaround negative growth or seek new opportunities.
6. Analyze market trends and sales potential in the region while understanding direct and indirect competition; monitor competitive activity in the field and develop strategies and tactics to deal effectively. Monitor and obtain market intelligence effectively.
7. Assess market needs, follow trends in the business and anticipate future developments. Assist in carrying out these market research activities to identify and develop new sales to unlock the potential growth of the organization. Identify new expansion opportunities of market share and value creation to the customers.
8. Support in the preparation and delivery of presentations, evaluations and negotiations with prospective and current customers to achieve growth objectives.
9. Manage accounts receivables for assigned customers.
Requirements
1. Minimum Degree or higher.
2. Sales and Marketing account management experience for Japanese semiconductor customers in Japan.
3. Familiar with the style of business in front-end and back-end packaging materials to further expand it in South East Asia region.
4. Possess semiconductor market knowledge, product’s technical knowledge and relevant experiences will be advantageous.
5. Strong presentation skills with good product/technical knowledge, excellent oral and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
6. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel and any information-related processing tool.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, highly responsible, meticulous, enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive mindset.
8. Must be able to travel independently to various countries. Some out of hours work will be required to fulfill necessary task to complete for the part of business growth.
9. Good knowledge of product costing/structure which align with Japan headquarter’s business strategies.
