You'll spend time on the following:

• Working closely with the Treasury, Tax and Statutory Reporting teams to understand accounting implications of terms and conditions of intercompany arrangements, along with other significant intra-entity transactions and global initiatives across the Company.

• Supporting intercompany accounting transformation projects, including automation and process improvement.

• Proactively communicating with business partners in US and EMEA to resolve intercompany variances, reconcile any outstanding amounts on a timely basis and provide necessary support for local reporting purposes.

• Facilitating key month-end close responsibilities accurately and on a timely basis including preparation of monthly and quarterly intercompany invoice recharges, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.

• Liaising with Corporate Tax to ensure annual recharges are correctly accounted for across entities globally in accordance with the Groupon Transfer Pricing framework.

• Coordinating with the Shared Service Centers to process intercompany invoices including receiving and posting invoices to the ledger and intercompany settlements.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• 3+ years accounting experience at a multinational company, public accounting experience is a plus

• ACA or ACCA preferred

• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP is a plus

The Account and Documentation Services team supports Key Private Bank (KPB) and Institutional Advisors Services (IA) in coordinating the Onboarding of KPB and IA Trust Accounts which includes document prep, Know Your Client and Global Trust Account coding establishing new accounts as well as coordinating maintenance changes to account coding on the Global Plus Trust Accounting system.  The team has responsibility to read the governing trust and custody documents and evaluate the legitimacy and appropriateness of the account coding.

Salary/Benefits

Salary range $46,720 to $70,080, pay will be determined based on amount of relevant experience. This position also includes benefits including vacation and sick leave, health/dental/vision/life insurance, 403B retirement savings plan and match, tuition remission, employee assistance program and wellness program.

Bachelor’s degree, supplemented with two (2) years of related work experience or one-year medical billing, clinical trial billing or health insurance experience.

Hays is working with a leader pharmaceutical company looking for a commercial analyst to join their team in Warwick on a fixed-term contract for the next nine months.
Your new role
The commercial analyst will support commercial teams with insights and recommendations to improve the wholesale business performance. You will produce automated dashboards in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint for monitoring to monitor performance of KPI's, product and customer performance. You will proactively analyse data and influence commercial decision-making. You will challenge pricing strategies to maximise profit for a wholesale business. You will participate in weekly and monthly commercial meetings working collaboratively with sourcing, supply and sales teams.
What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a data and analytics role in a fast-paced commercial environment
• High quality analytical skills and knowledge of data visualisation tools and Microsoft Office skills
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, and through presentations
• Confident with stakeholder relationships

Information about the squad

The main responsibility of the Junior Investigator position is to review ING customers’ transactional activity to detect and prevent money laundering and/or terrorism financing.

The Investigator analyzes the alerted transactions and the activity on the account to establish the flow of funds. They review the internal and/or external information about the customers to support the decision and are acting in accordance with the procedures.

Apart from the core activities, investigators are often involved in additional projects and initiatives, accordingly to their skills and interests, e.g., update of the procedures, quality check of colleagues’ work, trainings, administrative tasks, etc.

• Responsible for month end, year-end closing activities and Budgeting
• Analyse financial month end P&L financial performance (eg. actual vs forecast)
• Compile and analyze financial information for accurate reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree/ACCA in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience in commercial firms. Individuals with knowledge in use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly benefical.
• Multitasking, meticulous, committed and hands-on individual, enjoys working in a close knitted team environment
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP system such as D365, AX Dynamics, others will be good.
• Good time management and able to work under time pressure
