We're looking for a Learning Content Designer to join our TA&D (Talent Acquisition and Development) internal design studio to create innovative digital learning solutions for colleagues across the business. If you can bring us the technical design skills and creative flair that we need, we can offer you the chance to develop your skills and build training courses that will positively impact how we do business.
As a Learning Content Designer, you take ownership of the development solutions and equip colleagues with vital knowledge on a range of topics that service all areas of our business, from risk management in our food stores to leadership skills in our funeral homes. During your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to take on some of the following:
* Take briefs from the learning design studio manager and learning content design leads to gain an in-depth understanding of the courses you need to create
* Work collaboratively with the wider design team, subject matter experts and partners to share ideas, knowledge, and feedback
* Storyboard and design informative and innovative content for the delivery of digital learning
* Have a continuous focus on user experience and accessibility, putting yourself in the shoes of the end-user and analysing user feedback to assess the success of learning courses
The successful person will need instructional design experience, specifically using Storyline or Articulate 360. You'll also require the following:
* The mindset to put the end user at the forefront of your work
* The ability to collaborate with your teammates and share ideas
* Natural creativity and a passion for innovative design
If you have the skills that we need, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services), the Wagestream app - giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it, and the YuLife app - rewarding you for exercising with discounts and vouchers for your favourite brands. You'll also get:
* An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
* 28 days holiday (rising to 31 with service) plus bank holidays
* A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
* Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
* Coaching and training to support your career development
