Provide 1st line telephone based support to all our customers when required to support the IT Operations Engineers Display excellent customer care skills at all times when dealing with customers Fault finding/testing of IT hardware Installation of computer components, i.e. hard drives, RAM Imaging PC and laptops using Trust standard deployment software Reporting faults to third party suppliers, escalating as required Preparation of equipment for disposal including recording essential details Movement of equipment between satellite storerooms Undertake relocation of users, which would involve safely disconnecting of their IT equipment, if required, assist in the transportation to new position, then safely re-connect the equipment at the new position Management of mobile technologies through the MDM solution used by the service Provide support as delegated with regards to the installations of key developments of new system infrastructure Provide effective communication and incident report details Assist with installation of IT equipments and software implementations ensuring the process is efficient and effective minimising user disruption Assist with the projects to support operational changes or developments that require information technology Assist with installation of IT equipments and software implementations ensuring the process is efficient and effective minimising user disruption Carry out duties appropriate to the grade as may be required by the IT Service Operations Manager. The IT function supports all the organisation’s IT needs ranging from provision and maintenance of hardware, deployment of software systems, administering and developing our security safeguards in an ever evolving and technically diverse landscape and continually striving to enhance the use and adoption of innovative information technology.
The Role:

To provide some front line support to the Group IT department with a key focus on hardware & software related matters
Being reflective and continually seeking to improve and enhance the Group’s software systems, systems and processes and end user engagement with software applications and/or platforms
Assist in maintaining the Group’s central IT policies and IT governance structures in relation to data protection and managing a mobile workforce
Be an active and supportive member of the Group’s IT team, working in collaboration and autonomously to meet the needs of the organisation
Support with management of junior IT technicians
Act as first line response for daily IT requests through the Group’s online helpdesk software and dealing with any queries. Using the helpdesk software to escalate requests or jobs to relevant other IT technicians
Ability to use the Group’s remote access software to manage and deal with basic 1^st level jobs and provision of remote support to sites further away from their base location and/or supporting other IT technicians in fulfilling their duties in relation to front line responses
Carrying out CCTV checks and managing the systems deployed across the Phoenix sites. Keeping all systems up to date and working effectively whilst also responding to any requests from operational colleagues for CCTV footage
Contribution in managing the IT team’s administration and processing of recycling & dismantling activities of faulty or broken equipment ensuring all required standards are adhered to (WEEE)
Supporting where required in hardware rebuilds for equipment returned to the IT department as faulty or damaged. Ability to effectively problem solve and identify solutions to faulty laptops, PCs and other devices to support the redeployment of these in a timely and efficient manner
To be cognisant and aware of the Group’s GDPR requirements and the role the IT team plays in ensuring a compliant environment and processes. Keeping abreast of changing legislation in this area and working with the team to change processes or systems to remain compliant
To support the IT team’s ongoing and future projects including any deployment of new software, hardware and being an active player in ensuring these are delivered
Support the management of the active directories and Office 365 user management including dealing with password requests and resets

We are looking for a Systems Analyst & Technician (Finance) to join our Technology team for a 6 month fixed-term contract. Working as a Systems Analyst & Technician you will be responsible for analysing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting various applications and systems that support our Finance function. As a Systems Analyst & Technician you will also collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the business needs and objectives.

• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify business user/process issues

• Develop and implement technical procedures effective in quickly addressing business user problems to minimize downtime
