NVIDIA is searching for an Intern Chip-Design Verification Engineer to join our Network Adapter Chip Design team in Belfast, focusing on products such as our ConnectX Ethernet Network Interface Cards (SmartNICs) and BlueField Data Processing Units (DPUs). As an Intern Verification Engineer, you will be mentored by a group of passionate engineers to design and implement the next generation state-of-the-art SmartNICs and DPU platform. • Work in a combined design and verification team which develops some of the Network Adapter silicon core units

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist production staff in developing graphics and video content for the execution of the in-game show for all events at Mercedes-Benz including but not limited to Atlanta Falcons Football, Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, and more.
• Assist production staff in operating XPression, dashboard and show control in the execution of the in-game show for all events at Mercedes-Benz including but not limited to Atlanta Falcons Football, Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, and more.
• Conduct fact checking, research and art/video consistency for their respective projects. (This includes using images from Getty or any other approved source).
• Communicate with programmers, producers, managers, and other members of staff to ensure a smooth running of the project.
• Support staff by conducting quality control on content, taking detailed notes during meetings, inputting data into the computer and performing other tasks as required.
• Produce and edit video content that adhere to company guidelines and standards. 
• Assist as needed in all components of the production, including control room, sound, lighting, camera, editing and postproduction.
• Perform other duties as requested by staff to ensure all necessary tasks are performed in a proficient manner that adheres to the quality expected from the company.

• Create/Improve Algorithm for New Product: Develop algorithms or refine existing ones to support the development of a new product. This may involve designing algorithms for various functions, such as image processing, pattern recognition, or machine learning
• Improve Overkill by Defect: Enhance defect detection capabilities to reduce overkill or wastage in manufacturing processes. This involves using algorithms and vision systems to identify and classify defects accurately, allowing for more efficient production processes
• Support FAVI Machine by Cognex Vidi and Cognex VisionPro Software: Utilize Cognex Vidi and Cognex VisionPro software to provide support for FAVI machines. This may include configuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting vision systems, as well as developing custom solutions to meet specific requirements

Mercari Summer Internship 2024

• Interns will be tasked with developing features for the Mercari marketplace app in Japan or the Merpay mobile payment service. Successful candidates will join a team of software engineers, who come from diverse backgrounds and hold various expertise, and work as a member of their team.
• The specific content of your work will involve projects to improve the UX and specifications of our products and make them more friendly for Mercari, Merpay and Mercoin users. Currently, Mercari is implementing various initiatives including improving the search screen to enhance the listing and purchasing experience, and therefore you will be requested to actually handle our technology and data to produce output.
• At the end of the internship, you will report the content and actual results of your work at an event held for this purpose. You can find presentation materials produced by past interns in the following article on our owned media site, Mercan.

Leidos’ Quick Reaction Capability Airborne Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems Division is seeking talented engineering students for an internship with our Engineering Team in Bridgewater, VA for the 2024 Summer. Selected candidates will assist with the design, documentation, manufacturing oversight, installation, and testing of mechanical systems that support sensor integration for multiple fixed wing aircraft programs. The position will provide selected candidates with a valuable opportunity to work with a skilled team of engineers and scientists in cutting edge aviation and engineering fields within the defense industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support design by surveying aircraft or manufactured items, creating CAD models and drawings, and reviewing drawings.

• Support manufacturing by writing work instructions, communicating with the shop floor, and assisting with change documentation.

• Support project management by assisting with the development of Engineering Data Lists and providing project statuses.

• Support engineering tests by writing test plans and test reports and by participating in or conducting tests.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a technical degree program from an accredited university/college and have completed at least one year of college level course work with a 3.0 minimum GPA before the start of the internship.

• Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.

• Candidate must be proficient with MS Office products and SolidWorks (proficiency with alternative CAD platforms will be considered).

• Candidate must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance, which requires US citizenship.

• Candidate must provide their own living arrangements and transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with manufacturing techniques (machining, welding, assembly/installation, etc.)

• Experience creating and reviewing drawings and/or manufacturing from engineering drawings
