My client is recruiting for a Trainee Field Technician who will be covering the Inverness areas.

The Field Technicians will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks.

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 4 x 10 hour shifts

The Job:

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a Lap Top.
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.

Full training will be given on the following:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training
• Unit 2 Street Work

This role would suit candidates with the following:

• Graduates
• Ex-Forces
• Drivers / Driving (Multi Drop, meter readers, Delivery Drivers)
• People with a manual working/outdoor background

RPS are seeking additional Leakage Field Technicians for our South-East Water contract, covering the Basingstoke, Sussex and Kent area to detect, locate and report both visible and hidden leaks from the trunk main and distribution network. • Complete accurate Service Reports after every visit
• Whilst you don’t need to be an athlete, you will work up a sweat servicing multiple sites, so you would need to be physically fit.
• You will be responsible for your own health and safety - this means it’s your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is safe at all times and that you take care on the road.

End of day

• Unless you need to re-stock, time to go home and relax and unwind.
• At the depot, is the best time for you to debrief with your manager and discuss how your day has gone.

Our pharmacy is offering an exceptional opportunity for individuals with an NVQ3 (Technicians) qualification to join our team as Multisite Trainee Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technicians. If you have a strong desire to learn and grow, we will provide you with the necessary training and support to become an accomplished ACPT (Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician).

What Your Trainee Role Entails:

• Participating in the entire dispensing process
• Assisting with checking and preparing medication orders
• Ensuring utmost accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals
• Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals
• Delivering exceptional customer service with courtesy and effectiveness.

As well as gaining hands-on experience in prescription dispensing, you also have the opportunity to:

• Complete and maintain accurate administrative records
• Assist in managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment
• Receive, store, and issue medications and other supplies
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels
• Provide healthcare advice and direct customers to appropriate resources when needed

Total Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week

Rate of Pay: £13.01ph

To be considered for this multisite trainee position, you must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and hold an NVQ3 qualification. As a multisite trainee, you may be required to work in more than one branch per week. We have a position perfect for a Graduate or someone familiar with AV ! We are on the hunt for an Trainee AV Technician - this is an amazing entry level opportunity for someone looking to get into live events!

As a Trainee AV Technician, you will have the chance to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field of audiovisual technology and production. Your role will involve assisting experienced AV technicians in setting up and operating equipment for live events, as well as trouble-shooting tech issues and coordinating stock/equipment in the warehouse.

As a Trainee AV Technician, your responsibilities include:

Assisting with the setup, installation, and testing of audiovisual equipment.

Assisting in the operation and maintenance of AV equipment during events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Collaborating with the AV team to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise and find solutions promptly.

Assisting in organising and managing equipment inventory, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.

Assisting with the organisation of transportation of AV equipment to and from event venues.

To excel in this role, it would be beneficial to have a basic understanding of audiovisual technology and equipment, or a degree related to audio visuals. Familiarity of working within a warehouse would also be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are also important.

While this position is entry-level, it provides a valuable opportunity for growth and development into becoming an AV Technician. By working alongside experienced AV technicians, you can learn industry best practices, gain practical skills, and build a foundation for a successful career in this field.
