Summary

Job Description

Depending upon the location, complete assigned tasks based on that locations standard processes and policies. Follow infection prevention guidelines to handling contaminated laundry according to organizational and healthcare industrial laundry standards. Participate in laundry collection and sorting, as well as the handling, storage and distribution of clean laundry properly based on that locations standard processes and policies.

Depending upon the location, collect dirty linens (including but not limited to gowns, sheets, towels, blankets, and personal clothing) from wards, rooms, and medical offices; distributes clean and disinfected linens. Based on that locations standard processes and policies will complete some of the following tasks; washing, drying, folding linens, sort and fold clothing, and complete the proper labeling process for the designated health care organization. Depending on location will store and secure laundry supplies and equipment of a healthcare organization.

All proper protective equipment (PPE) is to be used or worn as outlined in that locations standard processes and policies. Physical activities include but not limited to, considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body; such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, twisting, squatting, and handling materials. Ability to lift and/or move up to 30-50lbs and push/pull up to 500lbs on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation.

The Pharmacy Resident is responsible for the provision of pharmacy services consistent with residency objectives. Responsible for the provision of supervision of students on clinical rotations.

Job Description

In a medical center or institutional setting, the Pharmacist reviews and interprets provider orders, provides drug information, assists in problem solving, and provides other aspects of pharmaceutical care. Duties may consist of unit dose dispensing, IV Admixtures, outpatient prescriptions, navigating the electronic medical record, compounding, and working with automated dispensing devices. Job Description

Thoroughly understand the operation of the ultrasound machine and utilize new technologies. Performs a variety of ultrasound examinations. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with patients and all organizational staff.

The center has multiple obesity medicine certified physicians, APPs, dietitians, health coach, and social work. Now seeking a full time outpatient weight management center dietitian. Job Description

Provides medical nutrition therapy services and monitors nutritional care of clients/patients/residents of all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric as assigned. This includes determination of nutritional status through nutritional assessment, individualized care plans, provider order recommendations and implementation of nutrition therapy (including verbal orders, diet modification, nutrition support, oral nutrition supplements), education and counseling for disease and nutrition risk management, and evaluation of outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions. Additionally includes optimization of self-management education and skills in the care of clients/patients/residents with chronic conditions. Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in dietetics or food and nutrition through an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited program. *(After January 1, 2024, the ACEND requires anyone taking the registration exam to become a dietitian have a master's degree. Prior to January 1, 2024, individuals qualifying to take the registration exam need to have the minimum of a bachelor's of science degree in dietetics.)

Clinical nutrition experience through an approved coordinated undergraduate program or successful completion of post graduate internship required.

Currently holds Registered Dietitian (RD) license within the applicable state(s). Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required. Job Description

Depending upon the location, complete assigned tasks based on that locations standard processes and policies. Follow infection prevention guidelines to handling contaminated laundry according to organizational and healthcare industrial laundry standards. Participate in laundry collection and sorting, as well as the handling, storage and distribution of clean laundry properly based on that locations standard processes and policies.

Depending upon the location, collect dirty linens (including but not limited to gowns, sheets, towels, blankets, and personal clothing) from wards, rooms, and medical offices; distributes clean and disinfected linens. Based on that locations standard processes and policies will complete some of the following tasks; washing, drying, folding linens, sort and fold clothing, and complete the proper labeling process for the designated health care organization. Depending on location will store and secure laundry supplies and equipment of a healthcare organization.

All proper protective equipment (PPE) is to be used or worn as outlined in that locations standard processes and policies. Physical activities include but not limited to, considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body; such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, twisting, squatting, and handling materials. Ability to lift and/or move up to 30-50lbs and push/pull up to 500lbs on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation.

Depending on location of position, work hours will vary depending on patient needs. May include overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to use a computer, prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of materials, equipment and methods used in cleaning is helpful.

Depending on location, must have a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8 hour day shifts. Looking for the right candidate to work with a busy department with main responsibilities to include working with the manager to keep the sleep lab patient schedule full, confirm patient appointments over the phone, build patients charts, and keep the databases up to date and organized. This position will work closely with other staff departments such as clinic nursing, schedulers, HIM, and pre-authorization teams to complete all the steps smoothly prior to patients arriving for sleep testing. Good phone etiquette and detail oriented is essential to this position.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

This is a full-time ultrasound tech position. You would join our highly trained and dedicated diagnostic medical sonographers. Each of them is board certified or board eligible as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Here at Sanford Women’s Ultrasound Diagnostic Center we have eight state-of-the-art ultrasound rooms for routine and advanced prenatal diagnostic and interventional procedures. Staff work closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians and other support staff. We are proud to be accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). This position involves rotation on outreaches and some weekend hours.

Summary

Responsible for performing ultrasounds in a professional and diagnostic manner. Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.

Job Description

Thoroughly understand the operation of the ultrasound machine and utilize new technologies. Performs a variety of ultrasound examinations. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with patients and all organizational staff.

Maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the sonography field. Displays empathy, compassion, and integrity.

Possesses an understanding of cross-sectional anatomy. Conducts self professionally at all times, even during moments of high stress.

Assists when necessary with the maintenance of accreditation requirements and processes. Understands age-related protocols for various testing. Coordinate work with physicians or other healthcare team members, including providing assistance during invasive procedures when applicable.

Supervises and train students and medical sonographers as needed. Reports and calls in-service requests on equipment when needed.

Additionally, based on the facility, some Sanford markets/facility sites may expand job responsibilities to include echocardiography.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging, Allied Health Certificate/Diploma or a minimum of one year equivalent work experience is preferred.

Registration in at least one of the following areas of sonography is required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or registry eligible.

Registry preferred within two years after hiring.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.

For employees who provide outreach mobile services, maintenance of a valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. This may include passenger on flights and occasional overnight stays at assigned sites.
