Key Responsibilities
This is a full time permanent position, reporting directly to Financial Controller of the group in Malaysia.
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of group financial reporting including group consolidation on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis,undertake full spectrum of finance duties, corporate finance, planning and analysis,taxation and cash flow management.
The role will be to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company and several subsidiary companies within the group.
Duties & responsibilities:
-Responsible for the preparation of Group consolidated statutory accounts on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
-Preparation of statutory Accounts for key subsidiaries within the Group.
-Responsible for the financial management of the company and Group.
-Prepare monthly investment and cash flow projection reports.
-Review country-by-country report,master files and transfer pricing.
-Responsible for quarterly and yearly reports for Bursa Malaysia announcement.
-Manage taxation, audit and all related matters.
Key requirements.
-To be considered for this senior accounting role, candidate must possess minimum a professional qualification ACCA/CIMA; bachelor degree will be duly considered.
-Member of MIA.
-Preference for candidates who are in age group 38-48.
-At least 5-8 years of hands on role on group consolidation of accounts and corporate finance functionality.
-Ideally candidate with prior experience in PLC set up will be an asset.
-The successful applicant will be strong in consolidation of group accounts.
Good working knowledge on Main Board Listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities and MFRS/IFRS.
-A confident and well organised self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
-Good command of spoken and written English is required with good writing skills.
-A good working knowledge of accounting standards (FRS & IAS),taxation and company law will definitely a prerequisite to be considered for this role.

The job

Experience of convening and attending Board meetings plus preparation of minutes.

Job Description
Chrisjac is currently seeking individuals who are interested in Executive Claims/Adjuster position for an established general insurance company in Kuala Lumpur. This position would be based at their Motor Claims Department responsible for record keeping tasks and filling of documents, completing paperwork and administrative duties.
This position will be ideal for SPM or Diploma qualification holders. The main job responsibilities will be to provide administrative support within the Department, support the claims and underwriting departments in respect of making payments.
The main tasks will include:
*Responsible for managing settlement of claims in accordance with company policy and procedure.
*Ensure claims are processed in accordance with the company's Claims Service Standard and BNM's Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices.
*Checking on all new claims registration and/or claims adjustment.
*Checking/Verification of documentation, assessment of claims and providing recomendation for settlements.
*Assignment of adjusters and/or solicitors to conduct investigation.
*Reviewing/follow up on all oustanding claims on regular basis to ensure claims reserve are adequate and status update during the review exercise.
*Maintenance of records and filling activities.
The candidate
We are specifically looking for candidates who are reliable and enthusiastic attitude to work.
*Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Book Keeping/Accountancy or Business administration.
*3-5 years of work experience in handling general/motor insurance policy contracts or other legal documents.
*Good computer and data entry skills.
*Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

About the job role
The position is full time permanent role. This is a key role within the Finance department in which you will be responsible for managing full set of management accounts of subsidiary companies within the group.
As Senior Finance Executive, you will also be responsible to manage the petty cash and other administrative finance related matters.
Other finance related supporting role:
*Preparation of write up analysis for the company.
*Manage and assist in the dividend payment process.
*Assist in related party transactions for Bursa reporting purposes.
*Assist in preparation of annual tax analysis for the subsidiary companies.
*Assist in the compilation of supporting schedules for Bursa quarterly announcements.
Requirements: Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have minimum a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance.
*Proven at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in managing finance matter in listed environment.
*Financial/management reporting.
*Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
*Must be proficient in English, spoken and written.
*Advance-level spreadsheets skills.

The role
Reporting to the Company Secretary, you will be playing key supporting role in managing full spectrum of secretarial functions, thereby ensuring statutory compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and Securities Commission.
To manage the company secretarial compliance work for a PLC and its group of companies.
Responsible for corporate secretarial matters and compliance with statutory requirements.
Manage Board and shareholders matters such as organising meeting, preparing and circulating board board papers, reports,minutes and announcements.
To attend board meetings for the group of companies.
The candidate
ICSA qualified (or part qualified).
2-3 years of corporate secretarial experience, preferably in PLC environment.
Demonstrated company secretarial experience,preferably in financial services.
Sound interpersonal skills with ability to to liaise effectively at all levels.
Good command of English, verbal and written.
Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
