Description

Analytical

• Liaise with Sales, Sales Finance and Worldwide planning to balance supply &/ demand for the region
• Forecast end consumer demand for all channels. Evaluate associated risks and plan for contingency
• Develop weekly and quarterly supply and demand plans to meet Apple’s financial objectives
• Present forecast performance while highlighting changes in business trends in order to drive strategy conversations

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Quantitative Strategy team, to be sited with one of our Agency Data Science/Engineering Teams.

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a data team deployed at a government agency identified as a strategic partner for DSAID, with the mandate to drive the growth of agency’s data capabilities while operating in close alignment to DSAID's approach and philosophy. • Lead commercialization and shape roadmap for Google’s first-party Brand Reach and Frequency planning products, such as Reach Planning/TV in Reach planner insights finder and Cross-Media Reporting.
• Be a subject matter expert on brand planning and reporting solutions, especially on reach and frequency concepts. Advise markets on how to adapt unique product value propositions markets/vertical nuances.
• Prioritize critical opportunities to innovate products based on the needs of APAC markets and customers through continual market collaboration, and occasional engagement with customers and partners.
• Develop and implement proactive plans to influence senior product leaders towards strategies and features that will help accelerate APAC LCS business.

Job Description

- responsible for the disposition of material according given demand in CIP’s (Continuous Improvement Project) and CSR’s (Customer Specific Requirement) and NPI (New Product Introduction), achieving lowest possible cost with shortest possible lead time, OTD (On Time Delivery) and up to our quality standards.

Task :

Generic

· Proactive improvement of the quality along the entire supply chain in close cooperation with all involved departments (Product Group, Research & Development, Material Management, Finance).

· Control and verify invoices with price deviations referring to PO

· Make sure that all necessary SCM parameters (vendor data, contracts, warehouse, IQC) are given and stored properly and take appropriate actions whenever necessary.

· Monitor the supplier performance and conduct proper supplier assessments as well. Prepare analysis.

· Work with the supplier to agree on corrective actions to resolve escalated issues (e.g. chasing supplier for OTD) or look for alternative suppliers when necessary.

· Issuing PO’s (Purchase Orders) or Call Off’s of QC’s related to quotations.

CIP’s & CSR’s (fast lane)

· Disposing and ordering material for CIP’s and CSR’s according demand in the ERP system (SAP)

This role will be a part of our APAC Tax planning team and have the opportunity to undertake a variety of tax compliance and accounting matters for the Group entities in Singapore and APAC region (excluding China and Vietnam). The role will also undertake various operational tax advisory work arising from the tax compliance and accounting matters. The role will be 70% compliance and 30% advisory.

Compliance and Reporting

• Manage tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes, including withholding taxes) activities together with EDPR APAC and EDPR Global Tax Planning team and the finance community of the APAC platform.
• Prepare / Review quarterly tax provisions (current and deferred taxes) and prepare quarterly tax reporting packages for Global Reporting requirements.
• Support company-wide initiatives aiming at achieving a sustainable tax compliance and accounting for the Group.
• Ensure accurate and timely APAC tax reporting to relevant stakeholders (e.g., EDPR APAC management, EDPR management, tax authorities, auditors, etc.).
• Work with other Business areas such as Finance and Accounting in the reinforcement of the Transfer Pricing Policies.
• Monitor and control tax compliance, tax accounting and tax reporting activities within assigned geographies.
• Assist with any TP documentation/ obligations / queries/ audits by working closely with external service providers, local teams as well as EDPR Tax Planning team

Operational Tax Advisory

• Work with other business functions such as Accounting, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Planning and Control, Procurement, Mergers & Acquisitions, etc.
• Advice Accounting function and other functions of Finance and business regarding intercompany recharges matters from a tax perspective.
• Follow legislative changes in various geographies where the Group is present and monitor their respective impact in Group’s operations.
• Work with Head of Tax and APAC Tax Manager to implement the tax planning opportunities arising from the daily operational work.
• Develop processes to improve coordination of inter-disciplinary teams to anticipate tax risks and opportunities for EDPR APAC

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent ·
• At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in the tax practice of a professional accountancy firm or an MNC environment
• Good knowledge of the Singapore tax System and international Tax
• Able to translate technical tax issues into practical business solutions.
