They are currently recruiting for a van driver to join our growing parts operation centre, distributing Citroen, Peugeot, Vauxhall and Fiat parts for the Group.

The ideal candidates will be reliable, well-organised and meticulous. A technical interest is also essential, as having a good understanding of the parts you are handling will be one of the keys to success.

Own transport is required due to rural location.

Full time position, Salary ranging from £23,000 - £26,000 + bonus + overtime.
Working Hours: Night shift 40 hours over 4 days; Monday – Friday (with a day off in the week), early start time of 4am. Saturday working will be required on a rota, paid as overtime.

With this role you will be provided with all the PPE and on the job training that you require to be successful in this role. The role will require candidates to be flexible with working hours as you will be on a weekly rotating shift pattern which is currently 07.00-15.00/15.00-01.00 however could become 07.00-15.00/23.00-07.00/15.00-07.00 during peak period when there are lots of orders to be processed.

The Role:

• Ensuring that all safety and quality paperwork is adhered to and completed correctly
• Completion of training to enhance skills for specific tasks

Candidate Requirement:

Although not essential experience of working on power transformers or within HV substations would be of benefit. A good overall trade knowledge and technical competence is however essential.
