A. Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and take responsibility for maintaining our SAP Business One (B1) system, as well as supporting various reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP B1 system management, HANA queries, Crystal Reports, and Power BI, along with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

B. Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP B1 System Management:

• Maintain the SAP B1 system, including user setup, system configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to address system issues and implement enhancements or updates as needed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on SAP B1 functionalities and processes.

2. HANA Queries and Reports:

• Develop new HANA queries and reports to meet evolving business needs and reporting requirements.
• Optimize HANA queries for performance and data retrieval efficiency.

3. Crystal Reports:

• Manage existing Crystal Reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
• Develop new Crystal Reports based on business requirements and user needs.
• Customize Crystal Reports layouts and formats to enhance usability and readability.

4. Power BI Reports and Dashboards:

• Manage existing Power BI reports and dashboards linked to SAP B1, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Develop new Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and support decision-making.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis and reporting.

C. Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in working as a consultant in SAP partner firm or as an in-house ERP specialist in a mid-sized trading/manufacturing company.
3. Proficiency in MS Power BI is required.
4. Experience in dashboard reporting will be an added advantage.
5. Proficiency of C# programming language will be an advantage.
6. Good analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.

THE ROLE

Ensure timely and accurate settlement of invoices
Invoice creation, distribution, reconciliation and settlement of physical and financial trading (Accounts Payable/ Receivable)
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve invoice reconciliation discrepancies proactively and timely
Ensure timely collection of cash and aging reporting
Work with operations team to clear overdue Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable items and non-allocated cash
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements around settlements processes
Ensure compliance with trading standards and other regulatory requirements
Ensure correct tax treatment of invoices
Other tasks and projects assigned by Settlements Manager/ Specialist

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Accounting
2- 7 years of Settlements working experience preferably in the commodity trading sector
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and attention to details
Strong team player and collaborate effectively with other teams in Finance/ Trading/ Operations department.
Fresh graduate with keen interest in commodity trading sector can be considered.

1. Stories Refinement
a. Understanding the requirements received from the product owner or business stakeholders
b. Document the requirement in form of user stories
c. Refine the requirements and prepare detailed user stories with acceptance criteria (including NFR and monitoring needs), target business process, changes required in application from current state to target state, screen mock up, data mapping, rules sheet and interface mapping etc.
d. Walkthrough the refined user stories with business stakeholders and product owners to confirm the scope
e. Explain the requirement to squad members in the backlog grooming session and further refine story as needed
f. Review the solution presented by developers and architects to validate if the solution would meet business needs
g. Review the test cases prepared by testers to validate if the testers would cover the acceptance criteria
2. Analysis of production bugs
a. Receive the incident raised by business users on production bugs
